Great Day - It turned out just fine but it was only 2 wineries and lunch. Driver's promptness, and responsiveness to a requested upgrade at one of the wineries(we were willing to pay more to make the change). Very informative and helpful. A day well spent.

Super Day in Maipo Region - This excursion was an excellent chance to see the Maipo Region. Our guide, Henri, was a careful driver, who knew his route well. As luck would have it we were paired up with a couple of Australian ladies we'd met the day before on a walking tour of Santiago. That made everything doubly pleasant. The wineries were well selected to represent the character of the region, while allowing us to tase wines we can buy in the USA. Lunch was delicious and our host at the restaurant was charming and focused on making sure we enjoyed the experience.

Excellent in all aspect. We visited... -
Excellent in all aspect. We visited Concha y Toro and Undurraga. Santa Rita was closed on Monday. So we got an upgrade to visit a boutique winery Aquitania, with a sommelier degustation.

Full of promise but didnā€™t deliver! - Pre-tour one of the wineries was removed from the itinerary by the tour company due to scheduling - we were promised a pro-rata refund having paid fully up-front. We were expecting a mini-van or equivalent but our transport for a party of 4 adults was a small car (Chevrolet Tracker) with 3 of us crammed in the back seat with poor air conditioning. On the day there was a two hour gap in the schedule with nothing to do before the final winery tour was due to commence. We were offered to entertain ourselves for two hours but decided to end the tour early as we didnā€™t have any other option on a very hot day. We were originally scheduled to tour 3 wineries and only saw one however the single winery we did see (Santa Rita) was excellent. To date the tour operator has not provided a refund for the section of the tour we never received.

Not what Viator sold us!! - Tour stated 3 wineries and city tour at end of day, only visited 2 (missed Urrangda) with no city tour. Lunch was supposed to be at a vineyard, was at a restaurant in urban setting (food was good). Guide followed tour companyā€™s instructions - was NOT what Viator sold us!!

We Got Screwed. Donā€™t buy this tour! - We flew into Santiago especially to do this tour prior to a cruise we were taking. We got confirmation and we weā€™re ready to go in the hotel lobby. No one ever came for us. I happened to run into a local who was familiar with this Viator tour, so a call was made by this person to check on the status. Upon completion of this call the person shook their head and said they arenā€™t coming for you. Within a few minutes my wife got a cancellation from Viator. We got screwed. We had extra hotel charges due to booking this tour, transportation costs etc. This cancellation cost us close to 600.00 with all the additional charges we would not have spent if the tour would have been cancelled correctly. Highly disappointing. Donā€™t trust this tour. Book something else. They left us high and dry!

The tour was not what was sold. We did not visit 3 wineries as was advertised and paid for. Do not use this company. - It was a scam. We did not get what we paid for. The driver did not speak any English. We were told to contact the tour company for assistance which we did. We left two voice-mails and an email and never heard from them. Do not use this company.
