Walking tour of Piran, Slovenia - Thoroughly enjoyed the walking part and listening to our guides stories. The wine, olive oil and truffle tasting was very informative and our guide made it fun. I’d highly recommend this tour and it’s great value for money.

Great food tour of Piran. Highly recommended - The tour is just as described great food, good details on history of Piran, and Jan is very engaging and interactive. We had a great time, but come with and empty stomach and enjoy. We have been on a lot of food tours in many countries and this was 1 of the best.

Great introduction to this beautiful place - Jan is probably the best guide we’ve come across. Informative, interesting and patient. It was a great introduction to the town and he gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our holiday

Walking tour with gourmet tasting - Excellent walking tour with lots of historical and social info about Piran from our brilliant local guide. The tasting session was great as we got to try a variety of olive oils, wines and regional products which ended the experience on a high.

Nice city walk with a very enthusiastic guide Janja - Janja is a very enthusiastic and enthusiastic guide, who proudly showed us the city and told us about the history of Piran. Highly recommended! The walk ended with a small tasting of a white and red wine, 8 olive oils and some ham and cheese.

The perfect way to start off your stay in Piran! - Jan was beyond amazing! He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. His English is perfect. We did a nice walking tour of the city and ended with an olive oil, meats, and wine tasting. The tour was a great value. I recommend doing it your first day in Piran to learn the lay of the land and use some of Jan’s recommendations during your stay.

Not a food tour, Eat first! - We have done many food walking tours in many countries and sadly this was the most disappointing. If you are wanting many stops with local food tastings then this is NOT the tour for you. To be fair to Jan, he did tell us this at the start of the tour, but it was not what we thought we had booked. Basically it's a walk around the town which was nice and Jan's knowledge is excellent, but it is only at the end that we went to just one shop where we had to stand & wait in turn to try a cube of bread dipped in various flavours of olive oil, had 2 glasses of wine and finally some cured meats and morcel of cheese. It was very long and drawn out and hot and uncomfortable & we felt it was overpriced compared to other tours we've done. We read a review that said come hungry... Our advice would be to eat first as this is as it says just a TASTING.

Average - Good tour, providing adequate information on the city and some interesting snippets of knowledge regarding specific landmarks. Jan was not overwhelmingly helpful in answering questions, often dodging them or not directly answering the question. The tasting portion was okay, but it seemed like he was doing a lot of promotion for the store he himself also worked at. We popped a couple days after and he was there.
