“Memories made in the Douro Valley” - From the moment we met our guide Juan, we knew this day would be special — but we had no idea just how unforgettable it would become. Juan didn’t just guide us through the Douro Valley… he welcomed us into his world. He shared honest, heartfelt stories from his life, told with such sincerity that you can’t help but feel connected to him as a person, not just a guide. At one point, he even took out his guitar and played for us — a moment so unexpected and beautiful that it felt like the kind of memory you hold onto forever. He also curated a playlist that reflected all of our music tastes, and listening to it together while cruising down the Douro made the entire valley feel even more magical. We were also lucky enough to meet two incredible women on the tour, a mother and daughter — D & B— who added even more joy to the day. If this is what heaven feels like, I’d never want to leave. Juan is truly one of a kind. Kind, genuine, talented, and so passionate about what he does. He made us feel cared for, and welcomed. Honestly, he should be part-owner of the company — he represents it with such heart and pride. Meeting him meant more to us than he knows. The wine tastings themselves were amazing. Every winemaker we met was eager to share their knowledge and passion. The love and patience they pour into the wine-making process gave us a whole new appreciation for every glass. Great trip with a great guide - So glad I booked this experience! A half day was perfect to see the Duoro Valley, we were shown some amazing views and a great winery, there was a fun boat ride to break up the trip and see the area from a new perspective, and all through it we had an amazing guide, Maria, who was informative and fun. Highly recommend!

Great guided tour and introduction to the wine and landscape - We opted for the half day guided tour to Douro Valley after lunch during our stay in Porto. Miguel did a great job introducing the group to the area. Quinta da Fonte do Milho Vineyard was a first stop with lots of time to enjoy tastings, conversation, and beautiful views. The 1 hour Douro River ride was next where we really enjoyed our local guides and a chance to find out more about the place. We ended back in Porto around 7:30 in time for a walk and a snack. Excellent option if you... - Excellent option if you want only half day in Douro Valley, tour departure in the afternoon was pretty convenient. We travelled with a baby and our guide Rui was always asking if we needed anything, made things a lot easier! Highly recommended

Great day - We spent a beautiful day excursion in the Douro Valley with Luis, who was funny and friendly from start to finish. He made us laugh a lot, especially when after a breakdown on the highway, he jokingly explained that his engine was French! Mood remained very friendly, and the whole family kept smiling despite this unexpected. We will keep an excellent memory of this outing, mainly thanks to Luis, who made the day unforgettable with his humor and good humor. The group of French and the melon thief 😜

Great! - Great for a half day tour! It was just enough to experience the Douro Valley and get back to Porto. Highly recommend if you are looking for a shorter option.

Recommended: small scale and very friendly - Very nice experience to a small traditional family port maker. The owners were very passionate about their work. Very friendly and highly recommended. Also Maria the tourguide was super friendly and has explained a lot about the area.
