First Douro Tours - My friend and I went on this tour together. It was fabulous. José Lino has incredible knowledge. It starts with an amazing view then onto a wine and port tasting at Quinta Seara D'Ordens. After an hour on the Douro with a delicious roll and more port. Then a thought I had gone to Heaven lunch in their farmhouse kitchen. I highly recommend First Douro and José.

Memorable day in the beautiful Douro Valley - We had a fabulous day in the Douro Valley with our tour guide Miguel. The weather was perfect for our trip and Miguel was an excellent guide, helpful, friendly and informative. All parts of the tour were excellent, the wine and oil tasting , the boat trip and the gorgeous lunch at the farmhouse. There were 7 of us on this tour plus Miguel and we very much enjoyed the company of our fellow travellers from Canada. I would recommend this tour of the stunningly beautiful Douro Valley.

Great Douro Experience - Picked up at hotel by Jose our guide, and joined a group of 3 couples. Pleasant drive in nice van to viewpoint overlooking Douro river with just the right amount of information. Then to a great small vineyard for wine tour and tasting. Then boat ride on Douro, very dramatic, followed by very good lunch at a small private caterer. Lasted 8 hours. Excellent way to get the whole Douro experience without any hassle. Fair price for what you get, 175 Euros per person, plus a tip.

Five Star Douro Valley Tour Experience - Jose Lino our tour guide was exceptional. He picked us up at our hotel in a Mercedes van with seats for 8 along with 2 other couples. We had plenty of space in the van. He took us to an outlook point and perfectly explained (but not overly explained) all about the Douro Valley region. He took us to the Quinta Seara d'Ordens Vineyard where they told about their process along with a wine tasting of red & white wine and tastings of their famous Port Wines. We then went on a boat ride down the river and were served wine in wine glasses (other groups not with us were served in paper cups) along with a sandwich. We felt ever so special....we dislike drinking wine out of a paper cup....so thank you Jose! He then took us to the owners farm and we were served a WONDERFUL meal along with wine. We had great laughs, made friends with wonderful people. We will recommend Jose and his company to all of our friends and family. Thank you Douro First Tours & Jose for giving us such a special memory.

Wonderful experience. Highly recommend this tour. - What a fantastic tour led by Nino Lisboa. From the moment we stepped on our tour till the very end was extremely enjoyable. Nuno’s customer service and knowledge was excellent. The tour which included the winery, the lunch, the boat trip and the views was 10/10. There were so many tours on offer but so glad I chose Douro First Tours. The private lunch all cooked by the wonderful chef which we enjoyed in a beautiful atmosphere. It felt as though we were having a home cooked family lunch. Highly recommend. Definitely the highlight of our 3 day Porto trip.

Lovely setting and a fine host - The Douro Valley is absolutely beautiful. I think all tours offer a tasting or two, a boat ride on the river, and a Portuguese lunch. The value of our tour was enhanced by our intelligent, knowledgeable and thoughtful host Miguel, who explained a lot about the region and the wines.

A day full of wine, food, and fun! - We spent a wonderful day with Pedro, our tour guide. He was very informative, personable, and professional. We stopped at a winery for a tour and a tasting, took a scenic boat ride on the Douro River, and had a delicious lunch. Port wine aplenty throughout. Pick up and drop off were at our hotel. Very small groups travel in minivans with their own guide and meet at the activities. Every group seemed to like their guide. The format makes for a relaxing and enjoyable day.

Personal visit to Duro Valley - David was a wonderful guide. The small group allowed conversation. The food wine, port and food was plentiful, the lunch was outstanding. It was a great personal way to see the Duro Valley .
