Great driver, all round guide and birding expert. - We have hired a driver via Off 2 Sri Lanka to accompany us during our 3 week trip with our family of 5. The communication with the manager of the office (Menaka) before the trip was very easy. He was fast, responsive and flexible. I booked all the accomodation myself, showed him our schedule and he made a few usefull suggestions. We were picked up from the airport by Menaka and our driver Ashoka in the middle of the night and they welcomed us with flowers! Ashoka was an excellent /safe driver and great company in many ways. He has a friendly cheerfull character (important if you spend 3 weeks together!). Ashoka accompanied us during many excursions, both culture and nature oriented. Sometimes on the basis of our proposals, sometimes suggestions from his site. Always in close alignment. His knowledge of Sri lankan history and culture is great. But we especially appreciated his knowledge of nature, wildlife and birds. Birding and photography are his hobbies and he took us to many places with rare and shy birds. He knows literally every bird and shared all his beautiful pictures made during the trip with us afterwards.

Would recommend in a flash. - My best of Sri Lanka, intrepid tour was just the best. My guide Mahendra, went beyond what was I expected as a guide. He was so knowledgeable, responsible patient, kind and caring. What we saw and did was so interesting, varied and involved local involvement. We rode, walked and climbed in a very safe and well paced time with breaks and alternative options if you didn’t feel up to the adventure on the day. When we went on the local bus and trains. Our luggage was taken by our mini bus so we were unencumbered in order to have the opportunity to mix and chat with the locals. All transport was immaculately clean and safe to travel within. The local people were so friendly, helpful and willing to assist in any way without asking for compensation. We were able to eat salads and have ice in drinks which you fear having in other Asian countries. Intrepid had bulk water containers in our bus and hotels for refilling our water bottles we bought from home. We were provided with cold fruit on returning to our bus from an active activity and Mahendra asked that we have cold flannels provided. Our accommodation was superb and had pools to flop into in our free time. I could not have asked for more.

Magical Lanka Experience by Menaka & Off2Srilanka! - We had a magical holiday in September in this beautiful Island of Srilanka. Made possible by Menaka and his team from Off2Srilanka who were simply superb in organising things. Meticulous planning, ever changing itinerary, room upgrades, millions of questions, late night chats- All these were handled with care and friendliness. Result of this hard work put in by Menaka and team made us have such a memorable holiday. Under the able guidance of Jaya( superb driver cum guide) who took us across the length and breadth of southern Srilanka in his posh van and was always there to help us answer any questions. Safety, Security and a sense of trust prevailed before, during and after the trip. 12 days is Sri Lankan in August 2023 - My son and I visited in Sri Lankan in August. We arranged all our travel arrangements including making hotel reservations threw Off 2 Sri Lankan Private Tours. Everything was arranged perfectly and to our satisfaction by Menaka who I believe is one of the partners of Off 2 Sri Lankan Private Tours. Also, he arranged a car with the driver, and the driver’s name is Ashoka who is very reliable and responsible who is also our tour guide. My son I were very happy with their services and will not hesitate to recommend to anyone who needs a reliable tour company in Sri Lanka. We are planning to visit again in 2025 and we will be happy to go back to this travel agency for all our travel needs when we return. Please keep up the good work Menaka.
