Boat ride from Sorrento to Amalfi and Positano - Our tour guide Magdalena did an excellent job! Well structured, informative and punctual. Seeing the sights from the water was breath taking. Plenty of time in Amalfi to sight see and eat.

A great day on the sea! - I’d wanted to do a boat tour while here in Sorrento for a week, and as anyone who has researched them will know, there are a LOT of options. Fortunately, it seems we made the right choice. Firstly, the price for a full day out (£77 each) was very reasonable and secondly, the organisers were very good at getting in touch. I’d had our tickets sent to an old email address that no longer exists, but they replied to my messages stating that it was all okay. We were collected bang on time from our pickup point and driven to the harbour. The boat itself had plenty of people onboard but there was plenty of room to sit, and to move about to get photos. As for the day itself, it was fantastic. This is one amazing stretch of coastline, and Simone and Alba were brilliant. On the way to Amalfi, they pointed out places of interest and filled us in on the history of each place. The rest of the crew were brilliant too (I’m sorry I don’t know their names), bringing drinks around and helping everyone out. Three hours was a very good amount of time to see as much of Amalfi as we could, and it’s a truly striking place to see. We only had one hour in Positano, but that was probably enough. Maybe it was the heat, maybe it was the crowds (of which I accept I’m one) but it was very congested there, and I preferred the view of it from the boat to being in it. That’s not the fault of the boat tour though; it just wasn’t for me. In all, HP Travel put on a brilliant day that lasted a good 9 hours and didn’t break the bank. Very happy to recommend them!

My wonderful Amalfi Coast tour - Very knowledgeable and happy tour guides. Swimming in the sea, wonderful food. Great sites. Nice boat rides.

Great day - Simon and the other host (sorry I can’t remember her name) were great. At the end of the day, Simon took time to make sure the driver got us where we needed to go. Really could not have been more helpful! We appreciated him very much. The only thing missing was a little more time in Positano.

Fun filled day - Our experience with MSB tours was exceptional. From checking in to disembarking at the end of the day was smooth and well organized. Our tour guide from MSB, Licio was informative made sure everyone was well aware of the time table and probifed clear and precise instructions on time of meeting and where. The tour was good value for the experience. Our highlight was swimming on the Mediterranean and cooling down after a busy day.

Honeymoon boat tour of Amalfi Coast with Simone - We had a lovely time! Simone was abs fantastic. The tour was so much fun. We were so glad to do it! Thank you so much for your attention to detail and making us feel special on our honeymoon!

Trip Amalfi and Sopitano - Amazing trip to Amalfi and Sopitano. Pretty expensive but the views were definitely worth it! Grade: 8/10 Duration: >10 hours (advertised as 9) *Recommended* It took some time to get from the bus on the boat, we first had to get paper tickets after wich we had to wait around 20-30 minutes before boarding the ship. This was a bit annoying. The ship had one stop at Sorento to pick up some more people after which it set out to Amalfi. The sights from the sea were breath-taking. The stunning view from the water, of Naples and the Vesuvius next to/behind it were beautiful. On the boat the guide gave us some interesting information about various sights on the coast and the island of Capri unfortunately I could not follow much of the information given due to the shrill speakers. At Amalfi we got a good 3 hours of free time, a good amount to explore the beautiful city and have some limoncello at a café. After this we went a bit back to Positano, a smaller village with a nice beach. We had 1 hour here, perfect because its quite small and there is not a ton to do. When the hour was over we went back to Naples (after first stopping at Sorento) where the bus took us back to our pick up/drop off point.

Very Nice Amalfi boat trip - Simone was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He took us to Ravello and also told us the best place to eat in Amalfi. He also loaned me his charger when my cell was low. The only reason we took off one star is we wish there was more time in each place.

Great day trip - This trip was a great way to see a lot of the coast in a short period of time. Having said that, just be prepared for lots of people and sticking to timelines. The visits to the two towns also were nice. I would suggest bringing your bathing suit to swim at the beaches if you are not a big shopper or explorer.

Not what we expected - We were expecting a relatively small group that left from the main port in Sorrento. What we got was a large ferry type boat that had originated in Napoli and picked us up away from Sorrento by a 15 min bus journey. The boat arrived and all outside seats were already taken up by the time it reached us. We ended up sitting inside for the long stretch to Amalfi which was made worse as we couldn't understand what the guides were telling us due to a poor speaker system and echoes in the cabin. I've got to say however that the guides were excellent on a 1 to 1 basis. Very friendly and enthusiastic, it's just a shame we couldn't hear them properly over the ships tannoy system for either inside or outside journeys. On the return from Amalfi, we managed to get an outside seat but unfortunately right in front of a group of young women who were only interested in partying loudly and playing their Bluetooth speaker even loader. When asked to turn off they were rude and the guides didn't seem very interested when we raised it and following this the boat crew proceeded to play loud music. It really wasn't that type of group apart from this smaller group mainly couples families and older guests. The queuing at the ports also became quite frantic with people pushing in the line and arguments over that ensued between other guests as there wasn't a clear and orderly set up. In all honesty, given the size of group and lack of a comprehensible tannoy, we would have been as well and much cheaper taking the scheduled ferry.
