Katie is an amazing... - Katie is an amazing host!!!! She took me and my sisters to some amazing spots to try local delicacies on the island. The food we tried was amazing. The food that we tried on the our was a mixture of well known Vietnamese dishes. Along with some new dishes that we were unfamiliar with. She was really attentive and took really good care of us. Ensuring that we enjoyed our time on the trip. Every time that we got to a new spot. She would give us details of the spot and the food we were about to eat. Not only was she knowledge about the food. She would answer all of our questions. Whether or not they were about the food. We really enjoyed our time with her. I really would encourage anyone that goes to Phu Quoc to do the food tour with her. You will have a blast with her.

Katie is amazing! Do it! - Katie was fabulous and so kind. We got GENEROUS portions of food and got to see parts of the downtown that we would’ve not gotten to see or know without the guidance of Katie. Wonderful experience and 100% must when visiting this island.

Good food and fun - We had a great evening. Me and my son, and an Australian couple participated. Out guide Katie was nice, fun and spoke good English. We got a lot of food of great quality, and really fun time with lots of laughs.

Awesome Experience! - One of my favorite things to do while traveling is learning the culture through food. I found this tour on Viator and was impressed by the glowing reviews. Well, I would like to add my own. Katie and her husband were amazing!!!! We booked during low season and were the only couple. I especially appreciate that shortly after booking, we were contacted and asked about food allergies (which I have). Upon arrival, Katie asked did we have specific food that we wanted to try and altered the tour on the spot to accommodate our list! Her husband joined us, and often went ahead to coordinate the next stop. They were like celebrities! Everyone knew them and extended their hospitality to show us and good time and delicious food.
DEFINITELY COME HUNGRY! My husband had to step in and take on most of my portions for me. We were able to try so many food options that we would not have found ourselves. Katie provided a lot of history on Phu Quoc, the food, Vietnamese traditions, etc. She also provided information for navigating the markets ourselves, and recommendations for the remainder of our trip.
I cannot recommend this tour enough, book now! It'll be like having a night out with old friends. We ran into Katie the next day at the amusement park, where she greeted us and checked on my husband who had a tummy ache from overeating. (100% my fault since I could not finish my portions. LOL) She gave recommendations for treatment and even continued to check on us for the remainder of our vacay. Thank you so much Katie and OK for going over and beyond just a basic food tour. This was hands down one of the best and most memorable experiences in Phu Quoc!

Great night food tour - Great food tour with a lovely lady, Nay. Tried foods for the first time and I wasn't worried about eating various street foods as all the vendors were clean and ingredients were fresh.
Nay also gave a lot of information and education and was just really bubbly and friendly
Would definitely recommend this tour.

BEST food tour with the BEST tour guide! - We did five different food tours while in Vietnam and this was hands-down our FAVORITE! Katie is the BEST tour guide ever… It’s like going out for a fun night with friends. She is so sweet and funny! Our first stop was a BBQ place….there was so much variety and we basically had all of it … I even ate the head of the duck lol! There were amazing sausages, beef skewers…you name it they had it! Definitely pace yourself because that is just one of 4 stops! What made this tour so special, aside from the food and Katie’s winning personality, was how flexible Katie was! If you want more food, you just tell her what you want and she grabs it for you. An English man on our tour was asking her about some type of special seasoning powder packet he had heard about in a cooking class and the next thing we know, Katie had sent her husband, OK, somewhere and he came back with 4 packets for him! Ok worked with Katie the whole evening and never stopped smiling. He does not speak English, but it made no difference… Katie‘s English is excellent!He would run ahead to secure buggies to take us to our next stop, make sure we had places to sit and basically took care of everything, so that all Katie had to do was interact and have fun with us. The whole evening was such a pleasure! We were leaving Phu Quac a few days later and as we passed the massage chairs in the airport I heard someone yell out my name… It was Katie and OK having massages after seeing off some other travelers! She was just as sweet and funny as ever! Katie, OK and Phu Quac will have a place in our hearts forever❤️

Tour with Katie - We went on the food tour with Katie earlier this week and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The selection of dishes we got to try was exceptional, each one offering a unique taste and experience. Katie was knowledgeable and engaging, providing captivating insights into the history and stories behind each dish and venue. Her enthusiasm and passion for food were infectious, making the tour both educational and entertaining. We also appreciated the small group size, which allowed for a more personalised experience. Overall, it was a delightful culinary adventure, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the local food scene.
Our favourites were the fish hot pot and the coconut ice cream!

Great food tour - Great fun food tour. Katie our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and introduced us to a variety of delicious food from local vendors. The weather wasn’t great, but Katie and her husband did a great job keeping us as dry as possible.

Not the best tour - I have done other food tours in other cities. This one was not the best. We were not guided on what to order at each restaurant. We were taken to each place, sat down, handed a menu and told to get whatever. When you don’t know the food or culture this is difficult. And when we asked for help we were just told everything is good. This was the most expensive food tour we did in Vietnam and it was the worst. Only went to 3 places plus dessert. Every other tour I went on I paid half the price, went to 6 locations and had a better time.
Guide was friendly and fun but some guidance would have been nice especially at the last location. I was hesitant to leave a bad review but since this tour was so expensive I hope to warn other travelers or get this team to make a better tour for people
