- WHAT TO BRING AND TO WEAR
- Top Cycling jersey or t-shirts
- Lightweight rain jacket Never trust the tropical climate
- Bottom All Mountain or DH style shorts. If you don’t have one, we recommend light fabric shorts with elastic waist-band or surf shorts.
- Shoes Athletic shoes, lightweight hiking boots, or trail running shoes with a sturdy sole work well. (Riders can bring their own clipless pedals and shoes and we can install them on our bike).
- Camera Sport or compact one.
- Sunscreen & Sunglasses
- Some cash If you enjoy your ride, please tip your guide.
- If you are bringing your own bike it should be tuned and in good working condition before the start of the tour. We strongly recommend you have your bike checked out prior to departure. A mountain bike of good quality and in good operating condition is essential. Our guides carry tools and a supply of spare parts suitable for use on most bikes. If your bike has special features or specifications, then you must supply your own parts and tools.

Wheel around Chiang Mai and immerse yourself in the sights and smells of this old cit - Had a great bike ride and tour through the streets of Chiang Mai. Vivi was a very good, friendly, knowledgeable tour guide and she was happy to answer any and all questions. I really liked her encouragement to try some different types of market foods. The ride was easy and mostly off big roads and provided a different perspective on the city — a good mix of locations to show life in Chiang Mai. I'm really glad I did this tour.

Great tour, great fun! - Great experience with Vivi as our guide, who was knowledgeable and a great host. Tour was well paced for both adults and children and interesting too and not arduous. Lunch went down well and the extra touches like feeding the fish at the temple and trying food specialities at the market was fun. The coffee/trailbike shop with complimentary drinks was also lovely. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend.

Great way to see and learn about Chiang Mai - What a fabulous way to see and learn about Chiang Mai. Our guide Vivi was very informative and along with Kib and Pang the morning was perfect. Cycling throughout the old town was safe and we made heaps of stops along the way. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Morning City Life Cycling - I was the only one who signed up for today's trip. The tour guide said that I was a VIP. He paid close attention to my riding status along the way. He also gave detailed introductions to each scenic spot he visited. He also helped take photos and videos along the way, especially since he could ride while riding. It’s really cool to shoot a video while riding! By the way, he can also make coffee, so remember to try it next time!

More birds than you think Vivi - Both guides where fantastic with great personalities and great language skills. Vivi made me laugh and helped me engage with local traditions. Even if it didn't go to plan hahaha.

Cool City Cycle Tour - Best Guide EVER!!! - Brilliant experience. The whole vibe at Trailhead is very cool. Vivi my guide was exceptional. It was so chilled following her, a local along side streets and visiting smaller less "touristy" temples that I'd never have found without her. Bicycle is the perfect vehicle for exploring central Chiang Mai. Vivi also introduced me to local master herbalist because I am interested in traditional healing methods and this was a very special experience. Vivi also chose an authentic northern Thai food stall for lunch and it was the BEST Thai food I had in my whole time in Thailand. Thank you Vivi...!! FYI... Google maps takes you to the wrong spot.... Trailhead is actually on a side street not far from where Google maps thinks they are.. DO IT!

Vivi “no ka oi”! 🤙🏼👍👏 - This was a great tour. We enjoyed the Silver Temple and Silver Hall, additional temple where we fed the catfish, side roads and alleys where we saw the daily life and gardens of the local families. Warorot Market, we loved the flowers and exotic things for sale. Vivi was a great tour leader!!! We really enjoyed ourselves. It was an adventure, we’d do it again.

Exploring safely on bikes - Had an excellent experience. We were greeted with a welcome drink at the coffee shop and spent a half day ride with our guide. It was just the two of us so a very personalized tour. We navigated streets, alley and bridges safely. There was time for drinks and lunch. Would recommend to anyone for a way to get outside of the old city and explore a bit.

[Must-do activity on your travel plan list] Unforgettable city cycling trip with helpful and kind tour guide - The trip is amazing. When I arrived at Trailhead shop, the staff served me a chillin drink with loveky smile. They are super friendly and helpful. My tour guide is Vivi, and there was only me and her along the whole trip. She is increditably energetic and kind, told me a lot of stories about the Chiang Mai city and temple culture, histrory. Lovely day with her. We ended up returned to the shop at 8pm ish (start at 4pm), she gave me a cold drink again. Definitely recommend to who wanna do something different and explore the city by interacting with local community. Will come again next time visit Chiang Mai :D
