Mind-bending Experience - This was really something special. We started out in the morning, and it was an all-day event. The size of some of these places are absolutely mind-bending, from the structures to the Buddha statues, how they could build something like this so long ago, I don't know. But some of these domes (I believe they are called stupas) are absolutely massive. There was a fair deal of walking included, so be sure to wear light clothes and good shoes! So, the boat ride at the end was very rewarding from a relaxing perspective. Our guide Mint explained so much about Ayutthaya history, took great care and was super friendly. We were super happy, as a last note, we slept well that night after all day on the move.

Places Beyond Bangkok - Being a history buff, this was right up my alley. While I did some reading online prior, nothing compared to how well our guide Poppy explained it for us. Our family of four got picked up in the morning from the hotel and it took about 1:30h to get to Ayutthaya, this is when the history lesson started, and I was just soaking it in, even our teenagers enjoyed it, which says a lot! We all had lunch together after which the journey continued. While I am no athlete and it was a bit hot sometimes, I had no issues physically completing this tour, but with that said, the boat ride was a welcome breeze of relaxation. We were all very happy with this experience.

An excellent and informative day out - A great tour of Ayutthaya with Alex as our guide. We travelled from Bangkok in a private van with Alex. The journey was smooth and plenty of cold drinking water provided. Alex also gave us a run down on the plans for the day and checked that they were suitable for us. We visited 4 of the main temples and Alex gave us detailed commentaries at each one. We also enjoyed a relaxing boat ride along the river. Alex didn't rush us and she gave us plenty of opportunities to take pictures and she also took photos for us. She was also patient as I slowly climbed steps due to a knee injury. Finally we visited a market close to one of the temples where we were able to sample some local foods 😋 Thank you for a wonderful day Alex.

Angie made the day easy and enjoyable - From hotel pickup to the end of the tour, everything was on time and easy. Angie was relaxed, friendly, and answered all our questions with a smile. The temples were impressive, but the highlight for me was cruising along the river peaceful, shady, and a great way to see more of the area. Would definitely book again.

A Truly Magical - The sight of the Buddha head among the roots felt almost unreal — like nature itself was bowing to history. Then the boat ride through the ancient city gave us this calm, reflective moment. Thanks to Poppy, it all came together so beautifully. One of my favorite travel memories ever.

Tour with Angie - Angie kept the tour relaxed and not too heavy on info, which I appreciated. It was hot, but we had breaks and didn’t feel rushed. The boat ride at the end was a nice way to cool down after walking around all day.

A perfect day in Ayutthaya with our parents - We booked this tour with Angie as a surprise for our parents during their first trip to Thailand and it turned out to be one of the best days of the whole vacation. Angie was so warm and thoughtful, always checking in with my parents and walking at their pace. She explained the history in a way that was easy to follow and never boring. The temples were absolutely beautiful. Wat Mahathat and Wat Chaiwatthanaram especially my mom kept saying, “This looks like a painting.” The architecture, the peaceful vibe, and the way the ruins stood against the sky just wow. The boat ride was a nice, breezy break, and gave us a whole different view of Ayutthaya. We took tons of photos, shared lots of laughs, and felt like we really got to experience something special together as a family. Thank you Angie for making this such a smooth and memorable day for all of us.

Peaceful, beautiful, and worth the heat 👍 - We really enjoyed this tour it was a great mix of culture, history, and beautiful views. Each temple we visited had something unique, from peaceful gardens to giant statues and amazing old ruins. Even though it was hot, the atmosphere made it worth it. We walked around slowly, took a lot of photos, and just took it all in. It felt calm, quiet, and very different from the busy city. The boat ride at the end was such a nice way to cool down. We sat back, felt the breeze, and watched the temples go by from the water. Simple, beautiful day. Would definitely recommend if you want something relaxing and full of wow moments. 😊
