Canal Living Insite - This is a great tour, gives an insight to living along the canal(s). Quite a feat to build in the water as well as along the banks.

Wonderful peak into the humble side of Bangkok. - Excellent experience getting to know the more humble side of Bangkok. Riding around in the longboat was fantastic, interesting to go through the locks, great seeing the enormous Buddha towering over the local neighborhood and a great stop at the canal side market. Johann is a great guide. I've been lucky enough T have him on this tour as well as an Airbnb tour the previous day

Relaxing couple of hours. - Interesting to see a non-touristy side of Bangkok. We saw a beautiful big Buddha we wouldn’t have seen otherwise and had a nice, relaxing a couple hours on the canal. The houses on stilts and their neighborhoods are a world away from the parts of the city most visitors see. Having our tour at sunset was a bonus. The guide and staff were very helpful but be advised if you sit at the front of the boat it can be difficult to hear their narration. Also note that the tour description is not kidding when they say it can be difficult to get in and out of the boats. The boats are very low in the water and the pier is relatively high so we kind of climbed / crawled onto the dock. If you need to slow down a bit I recommend this boat ride.

Pretty good trip. - Extremely long wait on both ends of trip waiting for locks to open. Bella, could have provided more information about the city and area, especially while we waited for the locks to open.

Not worth it in rainy season - Took the 11PM tour but started going to pier at 11:20, got on a boat quickly but all boats got stuck for more than 30min at the pumping station (which controls how much river water enters the canal). In a humid hot day, it was a torture to wait on the boat with no air. This probably happens in rainy season when the river swells.
