Educational! - Small group which was good for a great experience.
Our guide was passionate about sharing his knowledge.
It was really fascinating watching the silk harvesting process and the looms in action.
Snacks were basic, but good.

Great tour to see silk production and Cambodia lifeambodua - Great tour! Our guide Vuthiy was wonderful - very knowledgeable and helpful. He shared with us stories of where he grew up (way outside the city), his short time as a monk,.. very interesting! He also explained a lot about all the stuppas and statues we saw. And he bought wonderful fried bananas for the return trip!!! The scenery was great, and we were fascinated by the silk production, from moths to worms to beautiful silk. Wonderful trip! Thanks

Brilliant trip. Thoroughly recommend - Fantastic trip from start to finish. Our lovely guide was passionate and knowledgeable and we enjoyed the information he gave us. The school we visited was delightful as they children were so enthusiastic and welcoming and the silk production in all it's stages incredibly interesting. Would thoroughly recommend.

A lovely half day experience - We really enjoyed this half day trip to the silk islands. Our guide was attentive and informative throughout the tour duration where he told us some history of Cambodia, particularly about the 4 rivers and also some history about the Budda.
We got picked up at our hotel at 8am ish (right on time) by tuk tuk and were at the jetty not long after. From there the boat to the silk island took about an hr. We were served a cold drink once the boat took off.
At the island we first walk past all the Stupas on the way into the village, where we were given more local information. After that we got a tuk tuk to the silk farm attraction site via a stall where our guide got us all some fried banana and sweet potato snacks to try. Very nice.
At the silk island attraction we had a different local guide taking us around to explain everything about the silk worms and the ladies who work there doing all the works by hand, and weaving the patterns as had been passed down through their families.
On the way back on the boat we were served fresh fruit and another drink of choice.
A very enjoyable half day tour, which took about 4 hours all in all.

Leisurely cruise on the river - Good trip. The guide was really friendly and knowledgeable. We had a good time cruising in the river and looking around Silk Island.

Tour for Mekong Island Cycling tour. I want to organise this tour for group or individual or family cycling to enjoy the country - Mekong Silk Island Cycling is the best to bike tour which I can organise for this Cycling tour . it's so peaceful place to learn

A must do tour - Our guide was fantastic!!
He gave us a lot of information about Cambodian traditions, about the Mekong river and about the silk making process.
The boat trip was very smooth and picturesque. Drinks and fruit were provided.
Definitely this is a tour you should do.

Interesting experince, great tour guide - The island it self is not much, but our guide was amazing and told us a lot of interesting stories about him and his people. The visit to the silk community was about half an hour long and the ladies there were super nice and we had much fun. About half of the tour is the boat ride (about 45 minutes each way). The snacks were great, we also got a fruit plate and unlimited drinks. I would recommend.

Nice boat trip - The nicest thing is actually the boat trip about 2 hours to the island and back, the silk farm and the village can be seen, but does not have to. Guide has unfortunately only told on the island, while driving in bed no explanations about the neighborhoods and buildings. Nice but also not a highlight.
