A great experience - Great experience and our guide was very friendly and fun. He gave us a lot of information not only about Kun Khmer but about your fighters themselves which he knows a lot about. The fighting is great, very entertaining and aggressive style

Great Experience - Such a great experience with mr sop. Was so much fun getting to watch some kun khmer for the first time and mr sop was an amazing guide through the experience. Explained the rules and the point system to us extremely well and was also just a great guy to hang around with. Highly recommend this for everyone and will be going again whenever I’m back in town!

Fun evening for kickboxing - Really cool experience! Sophoarn picked us up at our hotel and from the start the mood was high. He's full of fun and happy comments. Already on arrival at the stadium he opened the first beer for us. And from there the beer flowed in a lily stream.
The boxing matches were intense and the atmosphere at the ring was high. A really fun experience!

Kon Khmer - We had a lot of fun with MR. SOP. He made sure we had a safe and enjoyable night. We got to take pictures with the fighters and even got featured on live tv. It was very fun and I loved every minute of it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in Kon Khmer.

Great night out! - This was a fantastic night out for our family of four (with two teens). Mr. Lee was an excellent host and guide, making sure we had ample drinks/beers and access to snacks. From the delightful tuk tuk ride there to our safe return home, we were in good hands. Totally recommend this sporting event experience.

Amazing night - This activity was just as described. Mr Sop picked us up promptly and took us to the venue. We were expecting a back alley kick boxing fight but this was a nationally televised event. We had ring side views with drinks flowing. Mr Sop allowed us to get closer to the ring and take pics with any fighter we wanted. All in all, very satisfied with this experience, would definitely recommend!

Great night out - We had ringside seats and enjoyed watching a local sport with plenty of thrills - great atmosphere and nice cold beers on hand. Not for the squeamish as they really lay into each other!

A Front-Row, Live-Action, Adrenalin-filled, Televised, Must-see Spectacle for everyone! - I booked this just a few days in advance to have a really different evening out with my 15 year old. Wow. We were collected by tuk-tuk and met our guide “Mr Sop” (Sophoarn) just a short few minutes’ ride away at the venue. To warm us up for the event Mr Sop gave us a demo try-out with gloves, pads and energy! He was professional, courteous, funny and passionate about the sport, event and, of course, his beautiful country. We walked into the externally unassuming venue to be dazzled by a made-for-tv Kun Khmer Kickboxing ring replete with stands, baiting crowd, team of referees, beautiful ring girl, real live Cambodian band playing rousing fighting music into crescendos at every round and the de rigueur sponsorship to boot! Our small, friendly group of 5 were all stunned by the spectacle as we were led by Mr Sop to….ringside seats!! Neither my son nor I had witnessed a live fight before, and indeed, would normally never have considered one. This was a total and abrupt assault on the senses. The build-up by Sop was great, with brief explanation of the rules, washed down with beer-a-plenty and grins all round. There were six fights, each of 5 rounds and varying weights. There were six guys looked small but very toned. The razzmatazz of their entrance and presentation to the crowd was exhilarating, enhanced by their then ritualistic pre-fight prep, a set of stretches interspersed with prayers, salutes of respect and tradition. Almost literally we were electrified by the ding of the bell as the mutual bows of respect morphed instantly into 2 warriors really kicking, punching and elbowing the crap out of each other. Seated ringside were within sweat-raining distance which increased the edginess of it all. This was no choreography, but real live hand-to-hand combat at a great competitive level. Mr Sop kept his word with the beers throughout as the excitement grew round by round, bout by bout. The lights, cameramen, action, chanting, music and growing crowd temperature really this event a fab and unique memory, in a land of fab and unique memories. We came for culture of all sorts on this holiday…tragic history, sacred temples, exotic food…and Mr Sop provided a thrilling “Once-in-a-lifetime” that, actually we’d happily repeat! We truly and highly recommend this to all. Oh, and ‘cos he’s not just a pretty face and pro-guide, Mr Sop dropped us off at the end right at the bustling riverfront. Respect!

Kun Khmer outing - Exhilarating experience. HOWEVER, the members in our group enjoyed only 3 beers during the event which is contrary to others' experience. There was no photo opportunity created with the so-called "favourite boxer"; no apology and no explanation. Not sure whether there's actually an entry fee because we received no tickets neither was there any person on duty at the door to collect tickets. Seems people just walk into the arena. Prepare for additional expenses because you may have to travel to pick-up point. Also opt for the Saturday/Sunday events because you'll most probably see more action with higher rated boxers and some heavy weights. Our event lasted just under two hours.
PS: The boxer in the picture with the belt is Mr Sop, our tour guide. Not even a picture of this sort were afforded.
