Great experience and wonderful food - We had a wonderful tour with Charles from Seagrape Tours this week. Beginning with a lovely cheese tasting at New Amsterdam Cheese with our host Margarita; then moving on to Johnny cakes, rum tasting and an amazing French lunch, we experienced outstanding hospitality and learned so much about the island along the way! We even got some insider tips on roads to avoid some of the traffic jams. The banana cake and lemongrass tea provided by Seagrape were also excellent. We highly recommend this tour for people who want to get off the beaten path and do something new during their time on the island.

Amazing Tour! - My guide (Walin?) was amazing. He knew so many interesting facts about the island. His food choices really helped me understand the diversity found on St Maarten. As a refreshment wetreat he provided some absolutely delicious homemade banana cake and lemongrass iced tea. I got to see both sides of the island and learned about their differences. I could not have had a better experience.

Wonderful! - It was a great day! We were lucky to have Gert as our guide, and though we have been coming to the island for many years, we learned a lot from him. He was knowledgable, friendly and engaging. We enjoyed finding new local places to eat and felt thoroughly entertained for the day!

Would Book it Again! - This was a great tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history and details about the island as we drove from location to location. Started with a traditional caribbean breakfast before heading to a wine and cheese tasting. Got to sample some excellent Dutch goudas and a great pairing of wines and condiments. The next stop was a rum tasting which was amazing. Lots of samples from a local rum maker. Final stop was at an upscale beach restaurant for some great seafood. We would definitely book this tour again.

Won’t go hungry. - Our tour guide,Ellie, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Food was good. Cheese tasting should have been after the Johnny cakes. You will not go hungry. The lunch at the French restaurant was very tasty.

Fun Food Tour - My friend and I signed up for this food tour and enjoyed much of the day. Our two favorite stops were: — Amsterdam Cheese and Liquor Shop: An outstanding cheese and wine paring. Learner so much — and bought cheese to reject hone! — Cool Heure Restaurant: Our lunch and dessert were fantastic! The other stops were nice, but I felt like there was too much time driving from spot to spot. Maybe for people from the cruise ships it offers the chance to see more of the island. Because my friend and I are staying on the island all week and have a car, I would have preferred the food stops were closer in proximity to each other to eliminate at lease 1 hour of drive time. Our tour guide was really knowledgeable about the island and the food we tried. She went over and above to ensure my friend found an ATM. All in all, an enjoyable tour but a bit long and somewhat over-priced.
