Seeing Philly in a Vintage Car. - It was fun! We passed by many of the city’s famous sights and were allowed to get off and take photos. The driver (tour guide) was very sweet. She told us about some of the sights but wasn’t informed enough to answer several of our questions. Overall, it was a great ride!

You cannot hear the... - You cannot hear the driver talking while he’s driving the car. Suggest a microphone or something so people can hear about the landmarks and history.

Bloody Awful - Philadelphia Sightseeing Tour by Electric cart or Vintage Car, aka Philly City Tours; I do not recommend this company for a tour of Philadelphia. My wife and I employed this company to take us to the regular spots in the city, with a specific “pre-tour” agreement to forego the “Rocky Statue” site (which, for some odd reason, gets more attention than the magnificent statue of George Washington across the street). The driver, a young woman with limited English ability, took us to Independence Hall, but wasn’t quite sure where the Liberty Bell was located. It was across the street in a building enclosure — she directed us to another building, the public restrooms. We also requested that at the end of the one-hour tour, the driver drop us off at our hotel on Arch and 4th Street. She had no idea how to get from Independence Street to our hotel and continued driving farther away. I had to direct her back to the vicinity of the hotel, and this was my first visit to Philadelphia in 50 years. We finally discharged this utterly confused driver, who had difficulty understanding English, and walked three blocks to our hotel. The worst of it, though, was that this woman’s driving was bloody dangerous; she nearly collided with two city buses. We were lucky to get away from that experience with our lives. My recommendation is to avoid this business as you would the plague or an outer space trip on Apollo 13.
