Nice time learning - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I liked that he included stories from multiple perspectives instead of a romanticized view of history. History buffs will enjoy themselves!

Nice tour - We had a great tour. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Philadelphia and pointed out many great things along the way. The walk was not too far, but I do feel like we saw a lot of the historic OLd Town area.

Not great if your tour guide isn’t interested. - Honestly, this tour was underwhelming. Aside from spending the first 15 min trying to sell us the book he wrote (about industrial era Pennsylvania), our tour guide was so soft spoken that it was difficult to hear what he was saying, especially given the construction going on in the area. He seemed like a nice guy, but I don’t feel like we learned anything we wouldn’t have walking around on our own. He would walk us to a site and then tell us to read the plaque. Then on to the next site - no story telling, no real engagement. I just didn’t get the impression that he was all that interested in colonial, revolutionary era, or early American Philly. Again, nice guy, just not an interesting tour.
