The best way to see all of the Philadelphia top sights - I was a little concerned by some of the reviews, but booked anyways, and I’m so glad I did! Our guides were terrific, the buses were comfortable and we learned so much about the city. I’ve been to Philadelphia a number of times for work, but the tour exposed me to lots of sights that I was unaware of. There was a man on the bus that needed the translation audio and that wasn’t working properly. He got frustrated and left the tour. So, scan the reviews if you aren’t English speaking so you can see if that’s a common issue. Otherwise, I highly recommend the tour!

Long Philadelphia Weekend Away - We really enjoyed our time on the Big Bus Hop-on Hop-off tour. We got to see everything that was on our to-do list without having to drive around ourselves. Also enjoyed hearing all about Philadelphia history while seeing the sites.

Awesome experience - We did the double decker hop on hop off bus tour on Saturday March 1st. We rode the Big B bus. Tom was at the bus stop selling tickets. He was knowledgeable and not pushy at all. When we got on the bus Ruth was the tour guide. She was entertaining and definitely knows her Philly history. She made the bus tour interesting and fun! We loved it so much we got on for a second ride. Darryl the driver was professional and courteous. Will definitely take this tour again when we are back in Philly and hope Ruth is the tour guide again!

Hop on hop off bus Philly - Seat were wet from rain and no offer to dry them off for guests. On one portion, the guide spoke so fast that no one could understand him. First guide was excellent

The tour is worth it, I didn't like the long wait being picked up - The first part of the tour was good, got off to see the mint, waited for over a hour to be picked up, finally called the company to see if they were coming, bus pulled up went to get on said they were on break, I would have to wait for another bus.
Felt like I wasted part of my day waiting

Walk it and skip the bus - There was a large student convention in town and they just were not prepared to handle the traffic. The buses were full and having to wait 30 minutes for the next one that at times was also full was quite annoying. More time waiting than touring. The one bus had a horrible tour guide who just rude. His name was Zane and he seemed annoyed at people getting on the bus. I don’t suggest.

Terrible experience! - This was a terrible experience! Buses are supposed to run every 20 minutes, well don’t get in a hurry. We found a bus at 3:34 at one of the stops and we were told that was a show bus but there was one across the street that would be leaving in 6 minutes. We went there only to be told they had stopped for the day. They sent us down the street to another one only to find that they had at least 50 people waiting. We finally got on a bus at 4:00. Customer service was pretty bad, as well.
