Trek to Phakding from Lukla 2610m

Phakding - Our guide will meet you in Lukla to begin the incredible trek to Phakding. To help with acclimatization, we will cover a short distance today.

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar 3440m

Namche Bazaar - We will trek through dense pine and oak forests along the Dudh Koshi River. As we progress, we will catch glimpses of Mt. Thamserku (6623m) on our right. Continuing through forests of pine, fir, and juniper, we will cross suspension bridges and eventually reach Namche Bazaar, the commercial hub of the Everest region where tourists and locals trade goods.

Acclimatization Day - Hike to Everest View Hotel and down to Khumjung and Khunde village for visiting Monasteries

Hotel Everest View - Today, we will hike up to the Everest View Hotel for a stunning 360-degree view of the snow-capped peaks. We will then descend to Khumjung village to visit the impressive monastery and Khumjung Hillary School, where we can see the Yeti Skull preserved inside the monastery. Khumjung is one of the larger Sherpa villages in the Khumbu region. We will continue to Khunde village, which is about an hour’s walk, have lunch, and visit the old monastery and Khunde Hospital. We will return to our lodge in Namche via Syangboche village.

Trek from Dhole to Machhermo 4410m

Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo 4759m

Gokyo Lakes - The trail passes through Phangga, descends to the shore, and then ascends along the moraines of the Ngozumpa Glacier. After crossing an iron bridge over a river, we will reach the first Gokyo Lake, Longponga (4710m). We will then proceed to the second lake, Taujung Tsho, and finally arrive at the third lake, Gokyo Tsho. The sparkling turquoise waters of these pristine lakes are mesmerizing. Gokyo village is located near the third lake, with Cho-Oyu (8201m) providing a breathtaking backdrop.

Hike to Gokyo Ri 5360m

Gokyo Ri - In the morning, we will hike up to Gokyo Ri (5360m), a small peak above Gokyo village, to enjoy panoramic views of the entire Khumbu region. As we ascend, the views become more expansive and clearer. We will see four of Nepal’s seven highest peaks: Everest (8848.86m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8481m), and Cho Oyu (8201m). We will also get a view of the fourth lake, Thonak Tsho, and the Ngozumpa Glacier, the longest glacier in the Himalayas. We will then return to Gokyo village.

Trek from Gokyo to Thangnak 4700m

Trek from Thangnak to Dzongla 4830m/6-7 hours via Cho-La Pass 5368m

Trek from Dzongla to Lobuche 4910m

Lobuche - We will first descend to Dughla, passing a few lakes, and then ascend along the moraines of the Khumbu Glacier towards Lobuche. In the afternoon, you can climb the ridge east of the village for your first views of the Khumbu Glacier, with Mt. Everest mostly hidden by Lhotse and Nuptse.

Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep 5140m/2-3 hours and explore Everest Base Camp 5364m/3-4 hours round trip

Everest Base Camp - We will continue on a challenging trail, walking on the rocky, icy, and slippery ridges of the Lobuche and Khumbu Glaciers to reach Gorakshep. We can relax by the Gorakshep Tsho with a clear view of Everest before calling it a night. We will then hike on a steep trail through the moraines of the Khumbu Glacier to reach Everest Base Camp (5364m). At the base camp, we will see brightly colored tents contrasting with the white Himalayan surroundings. We will be rewarded with breathtaking views of various peaks in the Khumbu region. After spending some time at the camp, we will return to Gorakshep.

Hike to Kala Patthar and trek from Gorakshep to Pheriche 4240m

Pheriche - We will start early in the morning to hike to Kala Patthar. Peaks such as Lingtren (6714m), Khumbutse (6636m), and Changtse (7543m) rise to the east, looking as magnificent as ever. Upon reaching the summit of Kala Patthar, we will enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Everest (8848.86m). We will take pictures and savor the stunning mountain vistas. After descending from the summit, we will continue downhill to Gorakshep and then further to Pheriche for a good night’s rest.

Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar 3440m

Namche Bazaar - We will descend from Pheriche and walk for about 3 hours to reach Pangboche, passing through the villages of Pheriche, Orsho, and Somare. This is an easier downhill trek. We will then descend to Imja Khola and Deboche, finally reaching Tengboche. We will explore the largest monastery in the Khumbu region, Tengboche Monastery. The trek continues on a 3-4 hour trail to Namche Bazaar, passing monasteries, schools, and tea houses along the way. The trail may be challenging due to gravel and sand, but the sense of accomplishment will be overwhelming. We will stay overnight at a lodge in Namche Bazaar.

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla 2840m

Lukla - We will leave Namche Bazaar and descend through pine forests, crossing a suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. The trail continues along the riverside until we reach Jorsalle. We will keep walking to Phakding, passing several bridges. After stopping for lunch, we will continue walking until we reach Lukla, completing our trek.
