Hugo review - Our party of seven, all family members, engaged, Portugal, premium tours for our Portugal vacation. Hugo was our guide for the Duoro Valley, Braga, Guimarães.. Having grown up in this area, he provided not only great knowledge about places we visited, but interesting and humorous personal stories. His-wonderful personality really enhanced our tour. He was very professional and left nothing to chance. In summary, we highly recommend Hugo and Portugal premium tours.

Hugo’s the best! - Hugo was a fabulous driver and tour guide, so friendly and knowledgeable about the area, (including we be sure to visit Magellan's birthplace). Hugo went above and beyond on the tour. I am a tour guide in NYC myself and I know I would not have done what he did. I wanted to go to a Porto soccer (football) match, but it was impossible to jump thru the hoops to procure a ticket. Hugo ordered the ticket on his phone, drove us to the stadium (in horrible traffic) walked me to the gate and gave me his phone to get in. What a guy, as I write this, I’m thinking I should have given him an even larger tip. Sorry Hugo. Thank you again.

We had a great day in the... - We had a great day in the Duoro Valley with Felipe as our guide. We were a group of 8 with 2 seniors, 3 adults and 3 kids under 9 years old. We started off the morning at a vineyard which was absolutely beautiful with amazing wine - we all agreed that if we ever went back, we’d stay at the hotel on the vineyard. Afterwards, Felipe took us to a local spot in town for lunch - it was delicious and was great to get away from the touristy places. Finally we spent the rest of our afternoon on a river cruise seeing the stunning landscapes of the Duoro Valley. Throughout the tour, Felipe was extremely flexible by working with our evolving schedule (given the young kids). We can’t say enough amazing things about Felipe - he truly was an a great guide and overall fun guy to spend the day with. Furthermore, when one of the kids left their sunglasses behind, he went so far to ship them to us at our next destination.

Delightful ‘Green’ Douro Valley guided tour. - Our tour with Richard was delightful:the scenery was spectacular and our multilingual English speaking guide/driver was engaging, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
If you only have a day to taste the Douro Valley, we highly recommend Plainsight! To make us feel better about using a car to travel distances from Porto, a Tesla was our mode of transport.

Two beautiful days - On the first day we visited Porto (4 hours). The next day we did the Douro Valley tour. Ricardo is really prepared and helpful, and it was all very interesting and pleasant.
I really recommend it.

Fabulous experience, with or without kids - We had a perfect day with Hugo, who helped create and then deliver a wonderful time for four of us adults plus a toddler. Highly accommodating for travelers with children, which is so hard to find! He even picked out the correct size child car seat and was so understanding and relaxed with us and so sweet to the little one. The wine tasting at the Quinta Hugo took us to was sublime! If I could give more than 5 stars I could! Hugo was so flexible in scheduling with us and let us take our time and still fit in everything we wanted to see/do, with a smile! Great conversations, great with the toddler too, and such a relaxing day! A highlight of our trip for sure!

Amazing trip to the Douro Valley - Hugo gave us an amazing tour of the Douro Valley. We traveled with our 4 year old daughter and he always made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. We took a boat ride in Pinhão, then visited a quinta near Peso da Régua. Afterwards Hugo took us to an amazing viewpoint to see the Douro Valley. It was absolutely breathtaking. Finally we stopped in Amarante to take a break in a cafe and visited the bridge and church. We had a wonderful time and thank you for the great memories.

Perfect Tour to the Douro - We chose the agency there in Brazil and from the first contact everything was perfect. Care, seriousness, travel tips. We booked a private tour of the Douro. Everything went the best way possible.
