Local wine tour with extremely knowledgeable local guides. - We had a fabulous time on this tour.
Andreia was a superb host knowledgeable, not rushed, and made the day relaxed personal and memorable.
We visited 3 small beautiful wineries. Each one is different, each one is personal and passionate about the wine and the valley.
The trip was driven by Andreia's partner who made the very comfortable A/C bus into a magic carpet dealing with the tortuous roads superbly.
The viewpoints were magnificent giving an almost 360⁰ view of the valley and only highlighting the scale of the wine-making operations on the most precarious of terraces.
The lunch was most enjoyable in a local restaurant and the food and wine kept coming. The cold water we were offered regularly was also most welcome as it was 32⁰ outside.
Can't recommend highly enough. Get the train to Regua and do a tour locally well worth it.

Highlight of the trip! - This tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip and showed the best of what the Douro Valley has to offer. Go ahead and book it now!
Andreia and Valdemar have created a very thoughtful and personal tour of the area-- ours included three stops and tastings at family vineyards, incredible vistas and viewpoints, and a delicious lunch featuring traditional Portuguese dishes. They also shared lots of information about the Valley, its winemaking and agriculture, climate, history, and food and culture. They also made great effort to take photos of our group and create those memory moments around the tasting tables and in the vineyards. The convenience was unbeatable as well, as they picked us up and dropped us off directly at our hotel outside of Regua.

Honest friendly personal fun tour of the Douro valley - From the time of booking the tour , the communication and service exceeded our expectations… so friendly, on time, and Andreaa and V were a wealth of knowledge ..more than you could ever read from any guide… the selection of vineyards from contemporary to classic was just perfect… add in a authentic lunch place and a perfect luxury vehicle for utmost comfort…. It really was a perfect day!

THE BEST!!! - I can't say enough great things about this tour. Andreia and Valdemar picked us up at our hotel and took us to the most amazing wineries and a local restaurant for lunch. It is clear they have a great relationship with the wineries and restaurant because we were treated like VIP's everywhere we went. They took us to 3 amazing wineries, each very unique where we were offered great wines with lovely pairings and tours. Andreia was so accommodating and knows the area very well. They made a couple stops so we could see the breathtakingly beautiful surroundings. I have been on a lot of wine tours, and this was hands down the best I have ever experienced. I highly recommend them and this tour! Book them and you won't be sorry!

Amazing!! - If there were more stars to give i would. The knowledge they shared is amazing. We have done tours In Croatia, France, Italy, etc. This was one of the best. Loved supporting the small local winery’s. The amazing view points and wrapped up with a boat tour. Highly recommend!!!

Andreia and Valdemer... - Andreia and Valdemer created a truly magical and unforgettable experience for us in Douro Valley. They picked us up right from our accommodations and took us to three amazing quintas, all family owned and each with very unique histories and winemaking practices. We also enjoyed a wonderful, authentic Portuguese lunch at a local restaurant. Having grown up in the area, Andreia is so knowledgeable about the region and shared a tremendous amount of information that we wouldn't have learned elsewhere. She also went out of her way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and comfortable throughout the day. I have Celiac disease so I need to follow a strict gluten free diet, and Andreia went above and beyond to ensure everything was safe for me to consume. She took great photos of us at each location. Valdemer was a wonderful co-host and expertly drove us all over the valley, allowing us to fully take in the beautiful scenery. If you're visiting Douro I strongly recommend booking with Andreia and Valdemer for a truly special, comprehensive tour of the valley.

Best day in the Duoro Valley - Andreia and Valdemar made this tour one of the best we’ve ever done! We loved the wineries that they chose to visit, lunch was fantastic, and we stopped at several great viewpoints along the way. The entire day was fantastic, and our guides really made it even better. From the moment they picked us up they were so friendly and welcoming, it really made us feel like we were family. I would very highly recommend this tour (and any others that Andreia and Valdemar offer) to everyone. We would love to come back to spend more time in the Duoro Valley and would absolutely book with them again. Thank you so much for the best start to our vacation!

Highly Recommend! - We had the best time spending the day wine tasting and touring the beautiful Douro valley with Andreia and Vlademar. Andreia was so knowledgeable, communicative and took care of everything. We were so glad we booked this because we never would have known about these small and amazing wineries otherwise and everyone we met at each stop was so welcoming. We were able to relax and take in the beautiful scenery and Andreia always made sure we had everything we needed. It was a bit rainy but Vlademar was a great driver and knew the best spots to take us for photos.
We would highly recommend this to anyone trying to make the most of their visit to Douro - it was the highlight of our trip!

Absolutely Wonderful Tour - I am not a person to leave reviews usually, but I want to take some time to tell everyone about how wonderful Andreia, Valdemar and this tour is.
This was our first time in the Duoro Valley.
They picked us up in the morning from our hotel ( and we're even early) and we spent the day exploring beautiful views points as well as visiting small family owned wineries. Each winery they took us to had a person explaining their processes to us and it fantastic wine tastings of red, white and port wines, as well as olive oils. By the end of the day, we were both feeling satisfied as well as like we got a great overview of life in Duoro.
Both Andreia and Valdemar are fun and energetic tour guides, who have vast knowledge of not only wine in Douro, but specifically the culture and the Duoro Valley itself, as they both grew up there.
The lunch was delicious and filling and a full experience of typical, traditional Portugese food. Very high quality.
Their driving was great, as I was a bit nervous, given the road designs in the Duoro valley. We asked questions all day long and they always were there to answer and very enthusiastic. Say always offered to take pictures for us.So we got ones together that usually we aren't able to do.
I can only recommend this tour. It was worth every penny, and i'm hoping to be able to come back another time and do a second round with them. They are not your typical tour guides. But much more knowledgeable and personable.
