Great day, learning about traditional food in Umbria - Our guide, Richard, was outstanding. He clearly communicated the place and time for pick up, so we did not have any delays in starting our tour. He was friendly, very nice, and knowledgeable about Umbria food and beverage. We were pleasantly surprised that Richard also showed us several interesting historical landmarks and provided us with Perugia map for further exploration of the area. We stopped in several cafes and restaurants, trying different dishes (delicious!), beer, and wine. We truly covered “a lot of territory” for 3 hours. We highly recommend this tour for anyone, visiting Perugia.

Beautiful Perugia- great tour! - We had a wonderful few hours in Perugia doing the tour with Richard. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the area is excellent. We learnt lots about local history and culture while wandering the streets, then had a fabulous lunch, sampling cheeses, cold cuts, a delicious truffle pasta and finishing with gelato.
He was a great guide and we thoroughly recommend this tour if you want to deepen your experience of this beautiful city!

Brilliant food tour - We had a brilliant time on our tour, led by Richard. All of the food and drinks we tried were excellent and Richard’s knowledge of Perugia meant we learnt a lot about the city! Also the booking process was easy and our dietary requirements (vegetarian) were catered for with no problems. Overall a great tour, I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Perugia

Wonderful food walking tour, highly recommend - Brilliant food tour, strongly recommend. I’ve done quite a few food tours. One of the best if not the best tour I’ve done. Perfect combo of history, gentle walking. Delicious food and wine. Richard was spot on with everything. We’ll definitely come back next year and bring our folks. They’ll love it.

Fantastic - Sue was fantastic! We had such a great time with her, and learning about Perugia! Being a local she knows the area very well and was a wealth of information.

An excellent introduction to Perugia - This tour was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. We loved all the stops, the variety and balance of food, the information and the history that was shared. We would highly recommend taking this tour as an introduction to Perugia upon arrival.

Amazing tour-well worth taking 😄 - Fabulous tour with lots of information,great food and drink and a little glimpse off the beaten path. Would highly recommend doing the tour just wear decent walking shoes. We had a brilliant time, Richard was a great host and we were with a lovely group. The truffle pasta was amazing !

Great overview of town with treats along the way - Nice walking tour of Perugia. You get an overview of the city with its history mixed in. Along the way, there are different food stops that all have a little local story. Richard, the guide, had made Perugia his home and he clearly loves his new town. The warmth and humor he shares with his stories make you want to come back and visit Perugia.
