Great fun activity for those who like a bit of a rush! - This was such a fun experience and a highlight of all the activities we've done since being in Peru. I've not been before so first time and loved it. We had a great guide who made it safe but also very fun. If you love the water and a good adrenaline rush then this is for you. Lunch, which was included, was very good and the zip lines were also fun. All in all a good all day activity for a very reasonable price.

Excellent rafting experience - The experience was excellent from beginning to end. The communication with answering questions and giving details on pick up was quick. I have done a fair amount of whitewater rafting through the years in America and other countries and can truly say that I felt safe and secure with having good equipment and professional guides. David was our guide and did well in communicating with the people in our raft in English and was engaging and informative. The rafting was in a beautiful surrounding and was some fun classIII rapids along a 10 kilometer portion of the Urubamba River. The facility was located in a nice location. They provided wetsuits and booties and splash jackets. After rafting, the showers had hot water and our lunch was very good and was a huge portion of chicken, rice, corn and potatoes with plenty to drink. Overall, I would recommend to anyone who enjoys whitewater rafting and getting to see the beauty of Peru from a different perspective to take this excursion.

Great experience! We went... - Great experience! We went in April and the water levels were high, so we got some great rapids. Felt safe the entire time.

Urubamba Rafting - As this is the rainy season, it was just us on this rafting tour and we had a blast. Anderson is a great guide down the river, and enjoyed the thrills of class four rapids while never being concerned for safety. Meal after the rafting was delicious, and we enjoyed hanging out with the resident dogs for this camp.

Great experience! - The water was perfect for rafting (big rapids the entire time) and the ziplining and food was good too. It is rainy in January, so there was a risk that ziplining couldn't happen, but that wasn't an issue for us.

Exhilarating ride - I had a great time, despite not having been on a raft for over a decade! Anderson and David took great care of us and made sure we had a great time and were safe. The view were breathtaking and I loved the scenery. We were lucky enough to have the lodge to ourselves and it was a peaceful way to chill out and relax after our adventure.

Fun trip with experts - I took a rafting trip on the Urubuma river from Ollantaytambo, and it was amazing. It had been awhile since I went whitewater rafting. They collect you from your hotel, and drive you to their facility. First we were allowed to change into our swimsuits, and stored our things in their on site lockers. Then we were fitted with wetsuits, life jackets, and helmets. They then drove us to the start of the rafting. We were given a safety talk, including what to do if we fell in and needed to be rescued by the accompanying kayaker. Then it was into the water where we got to practice our rowing a bit before the rapids started. The rapids were a hoot! The guide takes photos and videos and they turned out quite well. We were lucky to have a beautiful day and thus did not get too cold on the water. The river is one that flows down from Machhu Picchu and eventually into the Amazon, and the views of the mountains on either side are breathtaking. Once you are done with the river rafting, you get to go into a sauna and warm up, and then you can change into your street clothes. Showers are available if you choose, but i heard they were cold. After gettign dressed, they treat you to a warm and tasty lunch. All in all it was a perfect outing and I would definitely recommend! p.s. - our group only did the rafting, we did not do the zip lining so I can't speak to that part of the experience.

10/10 rafting!! - This was such a great experience! We were picked up early, fully suited in wetsuits, and had a great time on these class 3 rapids! Our guide Anderson was very fun and everyone enjoyed themselves on both the rafting trip and the little zipline across the river. Totally recommend if you want a quick, cheap, and safe trip down the Urubamba!

Amazing Experience, Bring Your Own Wetsuit if Possible - Amazing rapids and great safety instruction. Still so thrilled by the experience but some small suggestions for improvement: the wetsuits were very insufficient (many sizes too big and no wet suit tops) and we were all hypothermic by the end, the food was marginal and there was no choice but the dish served. We ate the soup only. The zip line was a fun and thrilling addition at the end. Nice guide and also liked the later start (8:15am pickup).
