- Vinicunca Mountain - Known as “La Montaña Arcoíris”, “El Cerro Colorado”, and sometimes “La Montaña De Los 7 Colores”, this mountain’s various names stem from the imaginations of adventurous travelers. However, its original name is “Vinicunca”. Visiting this mountain range evokes indescribable emotions. The plateaus, streams, valleys, high plains, and snow-capped peaks add to its grandeur, along with the presence of animals such as camelids, birds, sheep, and the local people whose infectious happiness captivates visitors.
Our journey begins at 4:00 am towards the village of Cusipata (a two-hour trip) where we will enjoy a hearty breakfast. We will then continue through beautiful valleys, small canyons, and impressive pre-Inca terraces until we reach the Community of Cusipata.
The adventure starts with a stunning view of Apu Ausangate. After an introduction from our guide, we will begin our hike. The ascent is gradual and will take approximately two hours. Along the way, we will see a variety of South American camelids such as alpacas and llamas, as well as birds, lagoons, valleys, streams, and snow-capped peaks.
After hiking for about six kilometers, we will finally arrive at the Seven Colors or Rainbow Mountain. This unique and magical place was whimsically formed by nature. After enjoying a peaceful moment in contact with nature, we will begin our return to the village of Cusipata where we will have our lunch.

Mountain of 7 colors... Worth knowing - I had a lot of expectation to know the mountain of 7 colors, together with my friends we took the service of Reserva Cusco. The service was very correct and has good relationship with the agreed price. Our guide very friendly and lunch was nice.
We were very happy and will recommend to my friends.

Worth the effort - It was a physically demanding adventure, however it was rewarding for this natural wonder the mountain was very beautiful and also we had a very pleasant view, although the cold was embracing the experience began.
I thank the agency for providing us with all the necessary equipment for the expedition :D

Mountain of Colors.... Great experience! - I think that we chose the best tourist agency to do the excursion to the mountain of colors, we were very lucky to have a very sunny day.
Our guide Gabriel, very attentive and knowledgeable about the geology of this part of Peru.
Our driver Leo, very friendly and professional, we enjoyed this adventure to the fullest, they picked us up from the hotel and after the tour they left us at the hotel. I want to tell you that we have taken the excursion in private service, the cost is more expensive but it was worth it....

Apart from how spectacular it is to see this colorful mountain,

Great. Experience... !!! Mountain 7 Colors - I can only thank you for the good service received by this tour operator in the organization of our experience at the Mountain of the 7 Colors. It was a wonderful day, lots of sun, we were very lucky to have a clear morning and we enjoyed the spectacular nature of the mountain
Thanks to our guide Eduardo for all the vibes and positive energy he gave to get to the viewpoint, we walked at our own pace, a little slowly, but we arrived. :)

Mountain. colorful - Good experience we had with this agency to get to know the 7 Colors Mountain, everything was well planned, we had a very friendly guide who was knowledgeable about Peruvian geography.
