Visit to Uros and Amantani

Floating Islands - Departing from the port of Puno, the tour will include visits to two of the over 90 floating islands of the Uros. With guidance from a local resident and a knowledgeable guide, participants will learn about this fascinating culture. There will also be free time to explore the islands independently, and an opportunity to sail on a traditional reed boat on the lake.

Amantani Island - Arrival at Amantani is expected around noon, where host families will warmly welcome visitors and provide accommodations. In the afternoon, there will be a walk to the island’s highest point to visit the “Pachatata” temple and enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets.

In the evening, guests can join a small festive gathering with music and dancing alongside residents and fellow tourists in one of the communal halls.

The following day, after breakfast, the journey will continue to the island of Taquile.

Visit to Taquile

Taquile Island - Arrival is anticipated around 11 am, where there will be a demonstration of traditional dances, music, and textiles by the local community. Lunch will be served with a stunning view of the lake, and there will be free time to explore the island before returning to Puno.
