Additional Information
Your tour consists of a 2 hour morning cruise up the Swan River with Captain’s commentary. Onboard you’ll be taken through a guided wine tasting of three WA local wines. Once you arrive in the Swan Valley, enjoy a delicious shared platter lunch on board the boat with wine.
Upon the completion of your cruise on the Swan River, you’ll be met by our driver/guide to continue your tour by coach. We’ll show you the best of the Swan Valley including wine tastings at two premium wineries and a yummy cheeseboard, chocolate tasting at a chocolate company and shared snacks and beer at a brewery.
At the end of your day in the Swan Valley, you will be returned to Perth by coach. Please note venues and timings are subject to change without notice.

Excellent day - Overall a great day. Informative, great wine tasting at a couple of nice wineries. Love the brewery. Learnt a lot on the river cruise about Perth and its surrounds.

Lovely, relaxing day out - We had a fantastic day. The first coach driver was across his local history. The wineries were great - a different feel at each and staff who knew their wines. Lunch was delicious. The cruise back was the highlight - so relaxing, plenty to drink but the best part was the talented singer who entertained us for the last 20 or 30 minutes. She was awesome.

Excellent would do again trip. - We boarded at Barrack Jetty and were not only treated to spectacular views sailing away from the city, but the hospitality on board was fantastic. First it was coffee/tea/muffins to get us started. That was followed at a leisurely pace by 4 wine tastings and a cheeseboard. After a good 2 hours we reached the winery for lunch. A bus was waiting to take us the short way to the restaurant. After a pre-ordered lunch and complimentary wine we headed out to two more wineries, a brewery and a chocolate shop, all with not only their products but with nibbles at every stop. Our driver Keith was kind and courteous throughout. This is a trip that is a must.

Swan River Cruise and Wine Tastings - Boat ride on the Swan River was enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and enjoyed hosting everyone. The morning tea & coffee was very nice. Enjoyed the wine tasting and Charcuterie board while cruising. Garbin Winery was the better of the two wineries. The mother and son were great hosts and shared a lovely charcuterie board during the tasting. Met some nice people that were on the tour with us.

Cruise on a sunny day - Enjoyed the cruise, the commentary was quite good but a little more knowledge would have been good. We felt the second winery could have been left off the tour. Overall a good experience,

Swan River cruise, winery tasting in the morning and lunch really good. Poor value in the afternoon - Morning was really interesting. Informative commentary along the Swan River and good wine and cheese tasting as we went along. Lunch was good but it would have been good if we had done tastings here. Rest of afternoon was 2 wineries. The second was not very good, the lady was friendly but her voice did not carry so you could not hear what she saying, and by then we had already had too much wine. Brewery waste of space, taken there and just chose a beer, no information about the brewery or it's ethos etc. Chocolate shop again very poor quality expected something better. No information about the shop and if it made its own products.

Quality of the wines very poor - The boat trip and platter was good, however the wine on the boat was not flash Lunch at the brewery was also good. But onto the first winery. The wine was not of a quality that one would hope on a tour showcasing Swan Valley wines. The tour guide described it as his favourite as it had the cheapest wines in the swan valley.!!!!!!
The second winery was somewhat better. Overall if this tour showcase the Swan valley wines don’t drink them.
Then the chocolate tasting. A very very small taste of 3 very small pieces of chocolate. Pretty much a tour of a Chocolate shop. The last stop was just an average bar for a drink and chips. No tasting.
The concept of the trip has potential but the venues to be selected based on on Quality not price

A non event - We booked this cruise well in advance to ensure that it would fit into our schedule when visiting Perth. While we were there we received a call to say that the day we had booked was cancelled, asking us to rebook for the next day. Then we received another call to say that this cruise was also cancelled.
So, we had to get a refund because there was no time to rebook. This is very disappointing because it was to be one of the highlights of our holiday. We were astounded that a reputable cruise company could cancel - twice! Especially after they had taken our booking.
Disappointing.
