Swan Boat round trip cruise - First its more than a 2 minute walk from the cruise port terminal, since the port terminal requires you to exit to the street before you can turn to the swan boat ferry (walk is closer to 10 minutes). Next there is no swan boat ferry terminal. Near building 2, water side, there is a shared banner high on a light poll showing Captain Cook tours. (we missed it on our first pass since we were early and no one was manning the ferry dock) and we were looking for a building. Third the tour states a a cash bar available. Not true it is a cashless bar. All the people paid via there cell phone. The swan boat ferry was on time ran at a nice slow pace 1hr 15 minutes each way. The ferry gave great view of the river and cities. We were on a Sunday afternoon cruise and got the bonus of seeing hundreds of sail class/races as we traveled the river.
Overall it was a very nice way to see Fremantle and Perth from the water

Make sure you’re aware which way down the river it’s going - Enjoyable relaxing cruise down the river. My fault as l probably didn’t read the literature but l though it was going towards the Swan Valley and not to Fremantle which it did..

Pleasant afternoon on the water! - Very pleasant ride on smooth water with a bit of description of features we passed by. Boat not full so viewing was easy. Nice A/C inside. An OK ride on an OK river from Perth Quay to Fremantle & return. The phenomenon is keeping Swan River as part of the community—too shallow for industrial use. Lots of marinas & yacht clubs, wind surfers, small boats. Very pleasant afternoon on the water!

The trip it’s self was... - The trip it’s self was good but Couldn’t really hear the captain over people talking ,
Kids running round making noise ,
We paid for both ways but we got off at freemantal , and caught train back ,

The only Viator excursion that I've been disappointed with so far. - This isn't what I'd call a river cruise, it's a ferry between Perth & Freemantle, best to buy a one way ticket at the Quay & come home on the train. It's pretty boring to listen to the same commentary twice & you don't see much except houses along the bank & the yacht clubs. Save your time & money, for us it was a waste of a lovely afternoon.
