Wonderful day visiting small wineries in the swan Valley - Our winery tour was excellent.. we enjoyed Shannon’s company and appreciated her extensive knowledge of the wineries we visited.. our day ran very smoothly, the wineries we visited and our lunch all provided a great insight into the swan Valley.. would highly recommend this tour company

Swan Valley tasting delight - Thoroughly loved this tour.
From our prompt morning pick up from our CBD hotel in an immaculate and spacious people mover van to our afternoon drop off, the day was flawless.
Paul was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide willing to share his knowledge but also asked questions of us to gain a further understanding of what it was we were hoping to achieve out of the day.
Shannon also was fantastic. From communicating with us from the get go, checking via text and email that we were receiving her correspondence. She was thorough, left nothing to chance and did her best to ensure they put together a tour we would enjoy.
Lunch at Upper Ridge was exceptional! Fantastic food at a very reasonable price. We could only manage 2 of the 3 course special on offer the day we toured (Thursday).
We got exactly what we were hoping to in that we visited a nice cross section of wineries in terms of scale, product offerings and style. Overall, a great day out with a friendly and discreet host.

Outstanding wine tour. - One of the best wine tours we have been on and we have been on a few. From booking to being picked up from hotel was stream-less. The premium full day wine tour started at Mandoom where we enjoyed wine and food pairing, featuring 5 canapés with matching wines. Next stop was Upper Reach which their verdelho was excellent. We also had a relaxing scrumptious lunch on the deck overlooking the vineyard. Lunch is not included in the price but the restaurant was very reasonable priced for the some of the best local foods. Next stop was Olive Farm. Tasting from a State of the Art wine delivery system from a choice of over 32 different wines. Last stop was Talijancich Wines that produced wine and fortified wines. Yes we purchased at each winery as the wines are excellent. Yes, we are very selected so the wine was to our tasting. Limited to only 6 people you get a higher quality experience not like to big bus. Shannon our guide/driver was also the owner and was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Enjoyable day in Swan Valley - This is a great option for those with a diverse knowledge of wine and enjoy the atmosphere of a smaller group tour rather than going on a larger tour. The tour guide Shannon had a deep knowledge of wine and the various wineries. The tour was slow paced and you never felt rushed.

Fantastic small group winery tour - Wonderful tour with small group. Shannon our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. We visited four outstanding wineries, all had very friendly staff. We would recommend this tour to everyone.

Great Time - Swan Valley Wine Tour - Took this tour in Mid-March. There were 4 Guests but could go to 6 Guests in the van. Picked up at our hotel.
I rated this tour excellent as the guide (Shannon) was very knowledgeable about the wines, the wine regions and history of the Swan Valley. The wineries we visited were:

Upper Reach Winery (Lunch)
Olive Farm Wines
Talijancich Wines
Each winery was unique and the lunch was very good. Would definitely do it again with Up Close and Local Tours.

A wine lover's day - A wonderful day. Four boutique wineries, over 30 wines tasted; a chance to see some indigenous art and taste chocolate were added bonuses. Paul was an excellent guide with a detailed knowledge of the area and the wines. Thoroughly recommend.

A True Swan Valley Wine Experience! - We enjoy our wine & wanted a tour that concentrated on the wineries rather chocolate or cheese-makers. Shannon is an expert guide & provided us with an excellent itinerary starting with fantastic wine/canopy pairing, a delicious lunch at the second winery, & two other wineries all showcasing the wonderful wines in the Swan Valley. The wineries were all smaller, family run, & very welcoming, giving us a chance to sample the huge range of different wines produced in this area. We will definitely use Up Close & Local for our next trip to the Margaret River wineries.

Great Day in the Swan Valley - Our Up Close and Local tour host Shannon found us some great venues with very knowledgeable and friendly staff so we learnt a lot about the history of the region and the origin of the drinks they make. An interesting and varied day tour. Everyone thinks Margaret River is the be-all of WA's wine industry but we have some vastly under-appreciated wineries on Perth's doorstep in Swan Valley, and Up Close and Local does a great job in reminding us!
