Interesting trip with many impressions - We found the trip very interesting and especially Mostar very impressive. We booked the trip with Ivana, the organization worked perfectly. Also included was a guided tour in Mostar, in which we got personal experiences from the wartime reported. We found the trip a great enrichment of the holiday.

Nice choice for a last minute visit - Excellent planning and good day tour to visit another country in one day, after you run out off stuff to do in Dubrovnik, ....
The guide was very caring and concerned, it is the best way to go..

A great day exploring the coast of Montenegro - We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Montenegro - Our guide (?Annette) was very informative and helpful and our driver was competent. We did enjoy our stop at Perast. We aren’t sure why our ferry boat trip didn’t happen, but we appreciated the boat trip to the Lady of the Rocks Island. It was a good amount of time to stop for the ?1 hour 20 at Perast. Kotor was well worth a visit. It is a beautiful walled town with plenty of character and different areas to visit (squares, churches, 3 gates in the walls etc) We managed to explore most of it in the 2.5 hours we had there.

Good Montenegro Tour but No Ferry - My wife and I, both in our early 60s, took a Trip Advisor Tour of Montenegro in October 2024 with Deep Green Tours. The tour was good but we were delayed 1 hour at the Montenegro border on our way in and 30 minutes on our way out. Passports are required! Perast and Kotor are beautiful Adriatic towns located in the Bay of Kotor which has towering mountains surrounding them. Like Dubrovnik, Kotor is a smaller walled ancient city with many churches, shops, and restaurants. Our tour guide Hanna was very knowledgeable and informative. The bus was very comfortable. The only major difficulty is that we paid to have a return ferry (on the water) experience and we did not get what we paid for. Our guide offered, at the last minute, to pay for the boat ride to the Island of the Lady of the Rock but wld not pay for our entry into the church (3 Euro each) so we did not accept. They should have covered the full cost. I believe Trip Advisor owes us a small refund.

Montenegro is beautiful but use another Tour Company! - I don't want someone to end up in my situation so wanted to share my not so great experience with this tour group: I signed up with Deep Green Travel for this one day group trip to Montenegro from Dubrovnik. The tour company I wanted to use was fully booked (I had a great experience with them the day before to Motor/Kravice Tours was with Super Tours- which is EXCELLENT with NIKO), so I signed up for this one. I thought these tour groups were basically all the same but I was wrong. First, Deep Green Travel apparently bumped me onto another tour company's roster (Sombrero Tours?) so during pickup, I couldn't find them despite asking all the other bus tour companies that did pickups if I was on their list. After asking a woman Johanna 3x, she said I wasn't on her list, but she was wrong since my name was spelled incorrectly, so I was indeed with her tour. Let me preface that Johanna is lovely and a well meaning tour guide, however, not the best guide for English speaking group since the tour was given in both Spanish (her native language) and her English was not great for giving this type of tour. She had to read from a script the English descriptions of what we were seeing since she wasn't as familiar with the history. In regards to the bus, the Air Conditioning was NOT working so it was very hot and uncomfortable for most of the ride and the bus driver was cranky and arguing with the tour guide when folks on the bus started complaining. In regards to the bus pickups, they start earlier thatn the 7pm start time. I was picked up at 6:40 am and the bus was half full. We then had another 3 stops that took another hour so we weren't on the road for another 45 minutes or so. The border crossings were long and despite asking in advance how long it may take since i heard it could be over an hour, they did not respond. It ended up taking about 45 minutes going to Montenegro and almost 1.5 hours coming back...so instead of a 5 pm return we got back after 5:30pm. Plus for those staying in the Old City, they don't drop you back at the same location so you are dropped off about a 15-20 minute walk on a highway without clear directions. Luckily, someone knew the way in the group.
So, defintely recommended going to Montenegro, but NOT with this Deep Green Travel.

I don't recommend it, it's boring and expensive - Terrible choice for the price we pay I do not recommend it.
First, they passed us kindly close to our lodging, that was great but the person who passed us didn't explain anything and just got us into a van without saying anything, we didn't know but he was just going to do taxi function to take us to a point to get on a bus, which was not specified in the tour, the tour says van...
Well we took the bus, reached place without problem but the truck was uncomfortable, had no bathroom, and we were not informed about the details of the trip.
We chose the tour to be in Spanish and the Lady Guide hardly and spoke Spanish, she was not understood much and towards the simultaneous translation from English to Spanish so it was very boring to be listening, her voice was boring and she was just reading historical information as if we were at school with a boring teacher.
She was grumpy and forgot what she had already told us and what she hadn't.
I wanted to see a friend who lives in Montenegro so I approached the Guide to ask her if she knew what time approximately we would be arriving in Kotor, she told me reluctantly to sit down that now she was going to tell us all, in the end she never told me an approximate time and just made me look bad.
When we finally arrived at Kotor, in case there is little free time, it takes about 10 minutes repeating the same information over and over again in English and Spanish about where we would meet at the end of the tour, it seemed unnecessary, about 4 times of repetition I suppose would have been necessary.
The tour says it includes ferry travel which is a lie, too, they charged extra just for kotor walking, I don't know if it's true.
We went to drop everyone off at their hotels, unfortunately our stop was the last and we understand but then he started arguing with the Transfer guy who was going to take us and ended up saying that he had to take other people and we had to wait for a while, she went and left us there waiting. Fortunately the boy did come back, but he didn't even speak Spanish and a little English.
It is one of those tours where you can tell that what they want is money and they do not enjoy their work.
