Upon landing, your first port of call will be the winery where enthralling narratives about the vineyard’s legacy and forebears will be shared. Afterward, we will meander through the vineyards, offering you a unique opportunity to savor the grapes straight from the vines and recognize them by their distinctive foliage.

Afterward, we will meander through the vineyards, offering you a unique opportunity to savor the grapes straight from the vines and recognize them by their distinctive foliage.
Subsequently, we will head back to the winery to pay respects at the family chapel, the resting place of the founder’s ashes.
Our tour concludes at the wine tasting venue where you’ll be indulging in some fine wines such as Encierra Vineyard, Encierra Rosé 2022, and Puquillay 2019.

Best Winery in Chile - We booked a horseback riding tour in November 2024 before a wine tasting. This was our favorite experience in the Colchagua Valley and a highlight of our trip to Chile.
Inés and Don José gave my wife and I an extensive tour of the property where we learned about the history of the land, the vineyard, and the farmers in the Valley. The tour also lasted much longer than the time listed on our reservation - but we weren't complaining! We could've gone all day.
We then had a really nice tour of the property before tasting some of our favorite wines in all of Chile. We even briefly met the owner - María who was so kind. The overall experience was super intimate which was a stark contrast to some of the other wineries in the area.
Oh, and I couldn't write a review without mentioning Bartolo - one of the pups on the property who was such a good boy.
Thank you so much Inés for the conversation, knowledge, and wine.
Cannot recommend this place enough.

Beautiful discovery - We discovered a beautiful and authentic vineyard. The history of the vineyard is very beautiful and Ines tells it very well.
Moreover, Ines was a very good and professional guide wether with her warm welcoming, the tasting of 3 excellent wines, the explanation or her expertise.
We had a nice time.
We discovered the Carmenere and we love it 😍! I reconciled with the rosé.
We did several visits to vineyards and tastings in the valley of Colchagua and this one was truly my favorite. We highly recommend the authentic experience at La Viña Encierra everything is perfect ☺️.

Vineyard tour and bicycle tour - The landscape is beautiful and the facilities of the vineyard are beautiful, we were greeted by Inés who attended us with much cordiality.
We did a bike tour where we appreciated the vineyards and plum plantations, very cute!
We were able to know the bottling process and explained in detail the stages for obtaining the wine.
We met the winemaker, very friendly, invited us for a next opportunity
With the tasting we were able to taste the wines for which the vineyard is renowned, they are exquisite wines!!
Thank you very much to Inés, we hope to return in March next year!!

were truly exceptional, reflecting the care and attention the family pays to each bottle. Inés Patrón was very explicit in telling us the story behind each wine, which made the experience even more enriching.
I highly recommend a visit to Viña en Sierra for anyone looking to enjoy high quality wines in a beautiful setting and with a hostess as exceptional as

An unforgettable experience that will not soon be forgotten. - Inez gave us a personal and professional tour and wine tasting. Her explanation about the bodega and its history, combined with the tasting of the excellent wines, gave us an unforgettable experience. Of course the beautiful setting and the weather also helped.

Excellent visit to Vina Encierra, Peralillo, Santa Cruz - A great experience touring Vina Encierra with Ines Patron. Excellent tour, touring the different strains they have, tasting the grapes and recognizing the strain by its leaves. He told us how the Carmerere strain was recognized by its leaves!
Excellent tasting of their wines with cheese and of course taking home a delicious wine: Vineyard Reserve 2020!
And then a nice walk through his barbecue area; beautiful place for events🥰

Wonderful experience - We had a lovely morning at Encierra, tasting five wines accompanied by cheeses, and touring the vineyards by mountain bike. There are a few hilly bits but it’s worth going up them to see views of the gorgeous valley.
Inés was kind, warm and very knowledgeable about the local area, the owner’s family history, and the wine making process. We would definitely recommend the experience.
Inés was also kind enough to arrange transport to and from the property, and give us recommendations for Santa Cruz, Santiago and Valparaiso.

Visit to a boutique vineyard - This vineyard is a great discovery. The Rosé is remarkable and my favorite.
The warmth of its owner and the kindness of the guide make it a must-see in the area. Don't miss out if you are in Santa Cruz.
