Amish country - I enjoyed each stop at the small businesses of the Amish people, the Village, Goat cheese business, harness makers. It's very interesting how the Amish people have adapted to using alternate sources for electricity and power needs, such as propane for refrigeration, etc. Goat cheeses were tasty. It was great to see the rolling fields, farms, and crops of the region.

Rosemary & Dean London England - A fantastic, informative trip! Would definitely recommend. Our guide was Dale, we couldn’t fault him. His Knowledge was exemplary and his enthusiasm shone through. He was very courteous, inclusive of all on the trip and a safe and careful driver. We visited a few Amish homeware/gift stores to enhance the experience but felt no pressure to buy. A very enjoyable day , thank you Dale!

A Trip With Marty to the Amish Countryside - Marty was a terrific guide through terrain entirely unfamiliar to us. He offered both historical perspective and interesting details about Amish culture and experience. The trip was designed to offer a slice of everyday Amish life, from an Amish-owned toy factory, to an Amish goat farm, to an Amish harness-making shop. We even stopped by an Amish grocery store and spent way too much time perusing the offerings. We took the opportunity at each stop to purchase local goods -- although Marty went out of his way to let us know we did not have to do so -- and to ask questions about the shopkeepers' lives. The people we met were obviously fond of Marty, and it was clear he had forged real relationships over time with them, which made our experience that much richer. We ended the day with the best Pennsylvania dutch pretzels we ever had. We highly recommend this tour!
