Your six-hour canyon tour kicks off with a scenic drive along the Mogollon Rim, offering breathtaking high country mountain views. Be on the lookout for wildlife such as antelope, elk, deer, bighorn sheep, mountain lions, turkeys, black bears, or the recently reintroduced Mexican gray wolf.
Secure your helmet and bow your head, hoping for a day filled with fun, camaraderie, and safe adventures. Leaving the van behind, you’ll venture cross-country through a pine forest. Once at the canyon bottom, your swimming and rock-hopping skills will be put to the test. The path becomes more thrilling with slides, waterfalls, and down climbs presenting exciting challenges to navigate. Sometimes, the best way forward might involve sliding, jumping, being lowered, or rappelling.
The adventure reaches its peak as your group arrives at the edge of a waterfall. With no option but to descend, everyone prepares for an exhilarating rappel into the deep pool below. The excitement continues with more full-body exercise until the journey leaves the water behind and heads cross-country once again.
