Highlights
  • Pattaya Sightseeing Tour By Sun Leisure World - 08:00 Hours: Meet us at the meeting point in the lobby of Hotel Dusit Thani Pattaya. Our Sun Leisure World staff will meet you at the hotel lobby, or you can visit our office located just beside the restaurant.
  • Walking Street Pattaya - 9:45 AM: We will pass by this famous nightlife center while it’s quiet in the morning. Check out the street during the morning - please note that it’s just a passing glance.
  • Bali Hai Pier - 10:00 Hours: The most famous viewpoint in Pattaya is here. If you’re in Pattaya, this spot is a must to capture. The biggest Pattaya signage is worth capturing, and it’s important to note that this is also the pier for the Coral Island.
  • Pattaya City Sign - Viewpoint - 10:00 Hours: Pattaya Viewpoint (Khao Pattaya View Point) on Pratumnak Hill is the best viewpoint in the region and the place to visit, day or night, to get that classic shot of Pattaya’s sweeping, crescent bay. Be warned, though, this is anything but an insider’s tip, so expect to share your view with an almost ceaseless conveyor-belt of package tours and the local traders who follow them, touting cheap souvenirs and expensive refreshments. This might sound off-putting, but the reality is tours will usually stop for 10 to 15 minutes, and once they have been called back to the bus, the viewpoint becomes quiet and peaceful – perfect for enjoying the stunning scenery. We will go to Big Buddha and Viewpoint in a 15-minute time.
  • Big Buddha Temple - 10:30 Hours: Big Buddha Hill or Wat Phra Yai offers a view of the biggest Buddha image in Chonburi province, visible from far away as you approach the hill. The Buddha image is situated on top of Pratamnak Hill, just south of the city of Pattaya. Driving up the road to the top of the hill will provide you with some very nice views of the Pattaya bay area.
  • Buddha Mountain (Khao Chi Chan) - 11:30 Hours: Khao Chi Chan, also known as Buddha Mountain, is a remarkable natural and cultural attraction located in the vicinity of Pattaya, Thailand. This awe-inspiring landmark features a massive Buddha image carved into the face of a limestone hill, leaving visitors in awe. The image on Khao Chi Chan is an intricate depiction of Lord Buddha, measuring an impressive 109 meters in height and 70 meters in width. The carving is meticulously crafted and filled with intricate details, creating a mesmerizing sight that showcases the artistic skills of Thai craftsmen. The surrounding area of Khao Chi Chan offers a tranquil and serene atmosphere, with beautifully landscaped gardens, reflecting pools, and statues.
  • Pattaya Floating Market - 12:00 Hours: Pattaya Floating Market is a cultural escape in Pattaya, showcasing the lifestyle of ancient people alongside a modern floating market. Try some local lunch here.
  • Gems Gallery Pattaya - 13:30 Hours: Immerse yourself in the magical world of jewelry and precious stones at Gems Gallery in Pattaya. This new factory branch covers an area of 15,200 sq. m. The truly spectacular store invites you to experience its sound-and-light show about the magnificent world of gems. Enjoy an informative excursion into the history of the origin and mining of precious stones and minerals.
  • Pattaya Sightseeing Tour By Sun Leisure World - 14:00 Hours: Return to Sun Leisure World Pattaya at Dusit Thani Hotel and then head back to your hotel.

Must do tour while in Pattaya - We did this tour in April and it was great. Our hotel was within the pick-up zone and it was a smooth pick-up and drop-off. Our guide was great and spoke good English. We sat at the front of the coach and could hear his explanations clearly. Driving down walking street in the day time was good as it gave us a taste of it before returning on our own later that night. Stopping at the Pattaya City Sign was good and it was just a short stop (time for photo and quick look) which was all that was needed. The Big Buddha Temple area was great, as well as the beautiful steps and the temple at the top there were some cool bells that you could ring at the bottom (left hand side when looking at the steps) and some good value souvenir shops. Buddha Mountain was good and there was a toilet block nearby (approx. 5 or 10 Thai Baht to use). The Pattaya Floating Market was a great experience and I managed to buy a new T-Shirt for a good price (equivalent of £5). Lunch was at the floating market area which is cool but we were not sure where the water for the soup had come from or how the food was being stored etc. We didn’t try much of the food as it was our first full day in Thailand/our first trip and we were still settling in and were slightly worried about the possibility of getting sick (we were probably over thinking things). Everybody else on the trip ate and said the food was nice. There were free toilets in the floating market area but there wasn’t any toilet paper or soap to wash hands. We managed to add on the trip to the Sanctuary of Truth which was great value for money as our guide only charged the face value of the ticket to go in. We had a massage booked that evening so we had to ask to be dropped off before going to the Gems gallery so I can’t comment on this element. The tour guide was very accommodating to our needs, nothing was too much trouble. The coach driver was very good too. We would strongly recommend this tour as it was very enjoyable and good value for money.

Great tour and guide - Vikkie was o wonderful guide through Pattaya and accomodated a last minute change in our itinerary. The company itself was hard to communicate with and provided incorrect details about the pick up.

Great visit to Pattaya!! - This was a wonderful trip! Highlight was the floating market and boat rides through the market! We also traveled along the beach and to the mountain! Our guide, Vikki, although newer at her role was delightful and showed great care for our group!!

Not worth the money - This was a confusing and bad trip. We had booked a half-day trip. The guide was sweet but seemed insecure and struggled with the language. Not much info was shared. The participants consisted of a mix of half-day trips and full-day trips, which led to unclear messages about what was going to happen. We stopped for photos at the pier, visited the Buddahtemple and finally the floating market. The visit to Jems Gallery ended to our disappointment. We were told that we could be dropped off there after some participants had been returned to their hotels, but we had to arrange the return ourselves. We recommend taking the trip on your own and googling the facts. The bus was bad and there was a really burnt smell from the engine.

Dreadful waste of money & time…chaos - Do not waste your precious time and money on this trip, especially if you a cruise customer. This company does not communicate prior to the trip, contradicts information. A mixed group of 4 parties was to be collected from one pick up point, 1 got collected, 2 were told by email confirmation to find their own way to Pattaya (1 1/2 hours) and 1 received Whatssap message the evening prior cancelling their pick up and rearranging to destination of 2. All given different times, bus was 1 hour late, guide said guests were in wrong place. Bus then collected several other guests - did not commence to first stop until 11 am (2 hours late) Buses had broken seats and faulty aircon (smell of rotten eggs is great whilst stuck in traffic). Became apparent the different parties in the group had different itinerary and expectations. By 12.15 we had walked around the Temple for 30 mins, and stood outside the Floating Market for 15, the rest of the day spent on the bus. Guide then put us in the boat at 12.40 and told us to be back at bus for 1:10. We didn’t get the included lunch and didn’t have time to buy lunch much but the guide wasn’t back at the bus until 1.35pm left us sat waiting l. A second bus arrived to pick us up ending the tour with only half the destinations complete and no lunch because it was late and we need to return to our ship. Total lack of clarity and communication, absolutely laughable joke, plus the floating markets is a bit of a gimmick.

Very costly without any substance - The entire trip covered all the free spots, that too within walking distance, I could have covered everything in an hour using a private taxi in one tenth of the price. Such a waste of money. Expected sanctum of truth in the itinerary but turned out it was missing.
