Perfect Day Tour to David Gareja and Kakheti: Wine, Food, and Great Company! - I joined this day tour to David Gareja and Kakheti, and it was the perfect choice for anyone with limited time wanting to visit both places in one day. Our tour guide, George, was incredibly friendly and made the tight schedule feel relaxed. He even gave us some extra time to enjoy wine ice cream in Signagi, which wasn’t part of the plan! We chose the third option, which included wine tasting and a full-course dinner—highly recommended for food and alcohol lovers. We got to try homemade wine from a local small winery, chacha, and churchkhela. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Warm concern - Thank you for your attention to detail. Even if I could not speak English, I used a translator to teach me many things. It was a lot of fun. Thank you very much.

The best tour I have ever gone on - We went on two day trips with Karlo. He is the best tour guide we have ever used. He knows all the best spots and how to avoid the crowds. It was magic how we were always in these amazing locations and as we are leaving all the crowds would come. It was perfect. With his tour, you go to soo many more places than you would with a big tour bus. It was the highlight of our trip to Tbilisi. We saw 3x as much with him compared to if we used a different tour guide. He takes amazing pictures and videos as well. He knows the perfect spots for the pictures and I’m in shock by how good my iPhone pictures look. He said he used to be a camera man for a big company so that explains how he knows how to work angles and light so well. We will be telling all our friends and family how this is the best vacation you can do. I travel a lot and can confidently say I will be back to go on more tours with Karlo and his company. The wine and food is amazing on this trip as well. I couldn’t believe we had a private winery tour with the owner and how the winery owner’s family made the food. It was absolutely surreal.

What a wonderful day! - Our guide Nick is an amazing person with whom we felt at ease and had long chats about Georgian culture, food and history. The David Gareji monastery is a wonder and the road to the hills is pretty scenic too. Loved the short snack break where we munched on Georgian bread, cheese and the largest tomatoes I have ever seen! The wine tasting and lunch was an amazing experience, the hosts were very welcoming and we felt at home. The wine tasted far better than the ones we have had at local restaurants. We also bought churchkhela, fruit leather and pickle/sauce after a tasting session. Best part about the trip was that we got enough time at each place, there was no push selling at souvenir shops and we were very happy and content. Thank you Nick and team!

Kakheti - Nick is a very calm and safe driver. He is also very friendly if you want to. E friendly and gives you privacy when you want privacy. He also takes fantastic photos and is very patient, mature, and responsible. He arrived much earlier and stayed with us until we were done with all the activities and sightseeing. We never felt rushed. Absolutely recommend this company and Nick is very professional.

Great tour but not solely wine focussed. - Karlo was a great tour guide- very knowledgeable and fabulous English. The only thing is that tour didn’t really match the title- we were expecting a wine tour with a few wineries, instead we only visited 1 winery and then visited a convent and monastery. They were very interesting but not what we thought we were getting. The winery we did visit was great, but we would have preferred more wineries and less of the other stuff. The title of the tour is a little misleading.
