  • Via Giuseppe Mazzini, 54 - We will make you discover Calestano, a very characteristic medieval village as well as one of the beating hearts of the Italian Food Valley.
IMPORTANT: If you do not have a car to reach us we offer a transfer service. Let us know in good time and we will pick you up in Parma.

We will put you at ease on our panoramic terrace - a fantastic view of the Parmesan hills - with a glass of wine: white or red ( of your choice).

Well, it’s time to prepare the pasta (we are already hungry).
Each portion will be combined with a typical Italian sauce.
Once the pasta is prepared, we can start eating it.
On the table, in addition to the pasta prepared by you, you will find Parmigiano Reggiano di Montagna and typical local cold cuts, but it is for the end of the meal that we kept our highlight: an excellent homemade tiramisu.

Great! - Had a very nice pasta lesson, definitely recommended. We learned how to make delicious pasta, ravioli and tagliatelle. Then we were allowed to the balcony with beautiful views, where we got an antipasti. Then our homemade pasta with a glass of wine and we ended with a tiramisu.

The best thing since sliced bread - We had the best best time. Virginia her mum and grandmother were incredibly accommodating. The lesson was explained well and we had a good giggle. It was heaven to reap the rewards, eating truffle pasta while looking at a beautiful view. Doesn’t get much sweeter than that.

Excellent pasta class! - Fantastic reception in a lovely little Italian village! We were warmly welcomed with water and coffee before the fork and good instructions. We learned to make pasta at home in the kitchen in a naturally professional way. Afterwards we had delicious ham, parmesan and wine on the terrace before self-made dishes with pasta. We had a great experience! Recommended!

A wonderdul moment I would redo in a heartbeat! - I really wanted to do a pasta class while bagpacking in Italy. I browsed quite a lot of them, but I wanted something more simple yet more authentic. Getting to learn the basics without feeling like I'm part of a turistic spectacle. Well, the experience prepared by Virginia and her mother is WAY beyond that. First, the road to their town was astonishingly scenic, and so was Calestano. I got to walk around a bit, and loved loved loved the medieval atmosphere. Then we get to the cooking class, we learned how to do 2 types of pastas, and also some extra shapes for the raviolis. Virginia explains everything very clearly, and makes sure we honour the Italians' traditions. I had already tried to do my own pasta with a YouTube video, and if I expected (of course) it to be very different, I didn't expect THAT MUCH. You really leave with some wonderful tricks! As for the food itself... what can I say, it's going to be the BEST meal you'll have in Italy, because it tastes like dedication, patience, and tenderness. Yes we made the pasta, but all the rest is Virginia and her mom, and I couldn't believe my luck to be tasting such wonderful homemade food with such a mind-blowing view. I'll also have to add Virginia picked me up and dropped me off in Parma as I was travelling by train, and I absolutely enjoyed talking with her during theses moments. She's a very wonderful person that has a lot to share and I'm sure she'll keep on doing amazing things. Well you've probably guessed it, this experience could mean something specific for everyone; to me it meant a lot. I'll keep these moments very close to my heart!
