Perfect way to experience Versailles! - We opted to take this bike tour as we were interested in seeing the town and grounds of Versailles in addition to the building itself. It was incredibly well run, and we had a friendly and knowledgeable guide (David) who shared facts about the town, the grounds, and the palace throughout the day. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Versailles without spending the day in the midst of tour-bus crowds. The market visit and picnic lunch were a highlight; it was wonderful to be able to enjoy the grounds away from the main crowds.

A wet but fun tour - Our tour guide Marley was fabulous. She took the time to do a safety check and speech of the bike and its operation. The tour itself was challenged by rain but Marley provided rain ponchos and an umbrella. We lumbered through the poor weather, at times it was miserable but still quite enjoyable. Marley’s knowledge and personality were the ingredients to a perfect tour. I would highly recommend this tour rain 🌧️ or shine ✨.

No better way to experience Versailles - We all agree that Ryan made this tour absolutely perfect. His theatrical experience brought this tour to life. His knowledge of the history of France/ Versailles was impressive and he relayed it to our diverse group very well. The whole group was laughing and having an amazing time. Market experience was great and Ryan gave great pointers on food to buy. Riding the bikes around the grounds of Versailles and the picnic by the Grand Canal was so picturesque. There’s no better way to do this experience! It is worth the day trip away from Paris :)!!

Really fun day, even with pouring rain! - We had such a fun day with Ryan as our tour guide. We went with our two daughters (10 and 12) and there was another family of 4 plus a solo on our trip. We all had a great time even though it was absolutely pouring rain! We made the best of it with ponchos, umbrellas provided by the tour and as much tree cover as we could find :-). Ryan was very entertaining and knowledgeable, we learned a lot and shared some laughs.

Perfect way to see Versailles and the Palace. - This was a great way to see Versailles and get to enjoy more of the gardens including Marie Antoinette’s house and where the mistress lived. The palace was beautiful. We saw and enjoyed so much more than we would have without this tour. David was a wonderful guide.

THE only Versailles tour you should book! - Could not recommend this tour enough! We had the perfect day and tour guide! The bike portion of the tour was so fun and relaxing! Loved that the bikes had little baskets to carry backpacks, water bottles, and our treasures bought in town. Our tour guide (I can't remember his name, but we toured on Aug. 1, 2024) was so personable and knowledgeable! We learned so much. The picnic on the grounds was wonderful. This is the only tour you should book if you want to visit the castle and grounds in Versailles!

Fun Family Day at Versailles - If you are looking for a fun family tour of Versailles that covers more than just the palace, this is it! We went as a family of four ( kids aged 14 and 12), and everyone really enjoyed their time. We loved the gardens, fountains, and farm (and distinct lack of people who venture that far) so much! Having a picnic along the canal with food we purchased at the market was a fun bonus. Our guide David was personable, made an effort to connect with everyone in the group (a total of a 8) and clearly explained the historical events necessary to understand life and events at Versailles. Don't hesitate to book a trip! It was a blast!
