A very pleasant tour - I really enjoyed this tour, and our guide Will did a great job. He was very personable, funny, and also a good driver. He was joined by a guide in training, Philippe, who was also very kind and helpful. The tour was a small group, so it was just my group of 3 and a group of 2. This to me is perfect because you're not being held back by a large group of people and you get to talk more to everyone and to your guide. It also means you go in a van versus a bus, and a van is much more comfortable. The tour gave a good balance between time on your own and being more guided. The first stop was Giverny, where our guide gave us a tour of the cemetery and an explanation of some of the history but then for the actual house and gardens we were given time on our own. To me this is ideal because you get to focus on what you like without having to follow a tour guide or wait for others. Afterward we did Versailles, the gardens and the queen's hamlet. I was satisfied with how much we were able to do here because usually you hear that it's very rushed to do a tour like this. However I felt like we got to see everything we wanted to see in the palace, and while there was definitely more to see in the palace, I felt like we saw a good amount. In the gardens we were guided again by Will and due to the size we didn't get to see the whole gardens but again, I felt good with what we were able to see especially knowing that on a tour like this you don't get to spend hours exploring every inch. I also appreciated that Will was able to answer our questions and gave us interesting fun facts as we explored. The queen's hamlet was also very interesting to see and I'm glad we got to see that too. Overall I think this tour is a great fit for people who want a balance between being guided and getting time on your own, and also for people who don't feel like they need to spend all day at Versailles.

Giverny and Versailles - We thoroughly enjoyed our full day tour of Giverny and Versailles. Santiago was an excellent tour guide who enabled us to see some beautiful areas, especially around Versailles, that we would not have been able to see on our own.

Best day trip outside Paris - reliable and informative - Our guide HP was fantastic. He was punctual to pick us up and went beyond to make sure we experienced everything. He gave us great options to also see Monet’s resting place in an historical church, and he gave us wonderful lunch options at Versailles. We chose the local marche that had so many fresh delicious options outdoors. The actual sites were so fantastic and he gave great overview of the historical relevance. We were able to easily visit both Monet garden and Versailles in one day, and get back early enough to Paris for dinner reservations. I highly recommend Blue Fox and HP as a guide.

So worth it! - Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Clementine. We visited in mid October and we were surprised by how many things at Monet’s gardens were still in bloom. Our group was one of the very first admitted to the garden so we felt like we had the place to ourselves for a bit which was amazing. We stopped for lunch at a great café in the town of Versailles before heading to the palace. Versailles was incredible to see. We went through the palace on our own for an hour and then Clementine met up with us and guided us through the gardens, which were really impressive. Getting to experience both Giverny and Versailles in one day made for a great tour and having a small group and personal guide took all the stress out of our experience. I highly recommend this tour.

Grand Gardens from Paris - Two amazing but very different gardens were the highlight of this tour. We visited during a mixed weather day, but that did not deter us. Going in October on a Thursday, the gardens weren't very busy but there was still plenty of blossoms and the fall colours were just starting. It was cool and comfortable...mostly easy flat walking. Our guide Kez was most informative in the Versailles gardens as we explored the mythology around the statues, enjoyed the fountains and discovered how they were engineered, and learned about perspective in landscape and architectural design. The Versailles palace interior was very busy. Although we had some time on our own to walk through,we did not have an audio guide or time to read the interpretative signage so if the interior is your interest look for a dedicated tour. The creperie lunch stop recommended to us was great. We were in a group of 6, driven in a comfortable van.

Lovely Day in Giverny and Versailles - The transportation was great, on time and great directions to meet driver. The tour guide was pleasant and funny although I thought it would provide more information about our destinations. The amount of time spend at each place was perfect and lived the small group.
