Caution-Surprise Charges!! - The cruise, meal and entertainment was wonderful. The reason for the poor rating is that we prepaid almost $300 for two people via Viator in advance. We knew there may be additional charges for a glass of wine and possibly a tip for the entertainment. What w DID NOT expect is a $200 additional charge before debarkation from the boat for an “Agency Fee”!! Feel like this was a scam either by Viator or the cruise company.

Skip this - Do not recommend this tour. We felt we were overcharged for the entire tour and the food was mediocre at best. Plus at the end of the cruise, we had to pay extra for a bottle of wine we had during dinner and unfortunately they did not bring us back our change and we were already disembarking. We decided the quickest and easiest option was to leave the change (over 20€!) as a tip for the crew as they did work hard. But seriously bad business practice. Use your money for a nicer meal on land. You’ll thank us later.

Save your money- this overpriced dinner cruise provider is not adept at service or cuisine! - This excursion was our most expensive and was also expected to be our most elaborate. As a result, we saved this dinner cruise for our final evening in Paris. Sadly, our realized experience fell short of our expectations. We were rushed on board and, strangely, most guests were seated on one side of the room. This seating arrangement left us cramped while many empty tables were arranged on the other side. We were left with the impression that they were prioritizing ease of turnover (i.e., between sailings) vs. guest comfort. We, like many guests, had a long walk to the meeting location. Given the summer heat, we arrived hot and thirsty. To our surprise, the staff had not anticipated our need for water. The bottles of still or sparkling water were an extra 8€. There was also limited staff, so one friendly- albeit overworked- waiter served all seven tables. While waiting for someone to provide water, we noticed prepared food sitting on trays for long periods of time. It was unsurprising when our food arrived lukewarm or cold, in some cases. The plating was great, but the food temperature was worrisome. The cruise included a talented singer who went from table-to-table. We noted the well-timed song choices as she sang Sinatra's 'New York' as we passed the quarter-scale replica of the Statue of Liberty. Her first song, though, was an American pop hit which we thought was a strange choice for a Paris river cruise. While the food was not the quality we expected, we were most disappointed by the boarding crew, the maître d, and the leadership of the vessel. They spoke little English, lacked empathy (e.g., when we explained how long we had been waiting for water), and glared in anger when we raised concerns about the overworked wait staff. Luckily, there are several alternatives to this provider from other companies along the Seine. We counted no less than four competitors during our sailing. I regret not doing more research to find a better service provider.
