Eating Europe: Paris and Claire were outstanding! - The Left Bank foodie tour was our 2nd tour with Eating Europe: Paris. We were ecstatic that Claire was our guide. The foodie tours of the Marais and Left bank were unique, with different foods and wine. We had a fabulous time. Once again, Claire, our tour guide, shined bright with her extensive knowledge of the area and the food/wine shops we visited. We highly recommend Eating Europe and Claire.

Wonderful food tour of the left bank - Claire was a wonderful guide to the amazing food offerings of the left bank. It was a mix of sit down places and on the go food. Everything from chocolates to mousse to cheese and baguettes to pork belly and more. The caviar was exquisite! Claire was accommodating to our different dietary needs including making sure that the vegetarian in the group had enough options. Highly recommended !

Book it now! - Discovered "Eating Europe" via Kacie Rose on Instagram and this tour did NOT disappoint. Rachel made my partner and I feel extremely special; answering all of our questions, sharing splendid details, and just being the most charming. She even took our icks (blue cheese and mayonnaise) into consideration. Food tours are the best...I almost fell over when my partner when for more than one spread of the tarama as it's basically mayo. Start to finish, absolutely worth every penny.

Best foods of the West Bank. - This was my third eating tour with this company. Eating Paris was another amazing food tour. We felt like our friend Camila was taking us all around to taste the best foods Paris had to offer. Sweet and savory treats at amazing spots. I highly recommend this tour. Definitely top notch.

Very Disappointing Tour - First, please know that the tour guide was fantastic. Very charming, energetic and knew her food. She was great. Can't say that for the places that Eating Paris chose. I have taken over 4 or 5 Eating Europe tours in various cities and by far this was the most disappointing one. At just over $140, it was not worth it. I have usually left the tour not wanting to eat another thing, but not this tour. In a chocolate shop, we got a piece of chocolate the size of a quarter. In a wine store, small amount of port and cognac. We did have an ample taste of Basque food. In a bakery shop, we had a very small taste of a delicious quiche. It was a good thing I purchased more quiche to eat when I got home. We ended the tour in a caviar store for a tasting and a sales pitch. Interesting but not a hit with our group. Suggestions for improvements: Go to a typical Paris bistro and get a few tastings of traditional Parisian fare. Go to a market and show delicacies of the seafood of Normandy, especially the oysters that are prolific now. Go to a bakery and show the different types of baked breads and pastries which Paris is known for. Eating was suppose to be the main part of the tour and that is where it failed. There just was not enough of it. I will probably judge Eating Europe tours in the future based on this experience and will be hesitant to take another Eating Europe tour.

Good concept - feasiblity is weather dependent - Great concept and some intersting food experiences but completely impractical in anything but fine weather. The tour, explanations and all the eating seems intended to be conducted outdoors without arrangements with proprietors to use comercial shelters when available. Consideration should be given to cancellation in poor weather or contingency arrangements. The tour also did not run to time so be careful if scheduling activity to follow.
