Fabulous cheese class, not to be missed in Paris - The staff did an incredible job guiding us through cheese making and cheese tasting. We learned a LOT about how to make fresh cheese, butter, and the 1,200 different varieties of French cheese. I would recommend this class HIGHLY to anyone who enjoys cheese or learning about new foods.

When in Paris learned to make cheese, it will be a highlight of your trip. - A highlight on our trip to Paris.
Agatha Is a wonderful teacher. her ability to explain the chemical process in layman’s terms was greatly appreciated. We were able to make one cheese and the best butter I’ve ever tasted. She even explained how we could do this process at home with pasteurized milk in the end we had wine, bread or cheese and butter, and a selection of cheese is found in the shop for tasting. This was an incredible experience. I highly recommend. This was a small group class, so no crowding and a comfortable setting to Ask questions.

Great introduction to cheese making with an experienced guide. Highly recommend. - This is such an interesting and worthwhile activity if you like culinary experiences and interactive or creative pursuits. The instructor was very knowledgeable and gave a great introduction into the process of making cheese. We learned about cheese from all over France, the differences between hard and soft cheeses and flavour profiles, for example. Not only did we make cheese, but we also made butter, then we got to taste-test bread, wine and cheese.
The location is clean and well-maintained; hygiene is not an issue.
For the price, what is included and the instruction given, I would say the experience is good value for money. Moreover, the location is easy to find and can be reached by public transport. It's a very short walk from the closest bus stop and metro stop.
When you're done with class you can browse the products on offer in the fromagerie and purchase with a discount (given to those who attend class). Note that there are a few hard to find cheeses in stock at the fromagerie, so if you're lucky to spot a unique cheese, buy it!

Enlightening and delicious workshop! - What a beautiful, eye opening workshop! We sadly don’t know much about where our food comes from or is made anymore. It turns out making cheese is pretty simple, a work of love, and of course the result is highly dependent on your raw product. Granted the cheese we made was a very simple cheese, and we took shortcuts, but it does taste better when you make it yourself! And I appreciate much more the work and artistry that goes into traditional cheese making now. Plus, the short interlude making butter is not only welcome, but also SO delicious! Seriously, I highly recommend this workshop. I also made a visit to the new museum of cheese, and both visit completed each other very well! I’d recommend the museum first, get the history and a bit of theory, then this workshop to apply what you have learned. (And still learn more!)
