Interesting Tour - I really appreciated the option to do a self-guided tour with the audio guide. It allows you to move at your own pace and not constantly be stuck in a group of people. I found the audio guide to be well-paced and interesting on the journey through. I’d recommend bringing a jacket or sweater as the underground tunnels can be pretty crisp, but a light jacket should be enough to stay comfortable throughout! Also - there are not really any barriers between many of the remains and you - so be cautious bringing small kids or wearing large backpacks or purses that could accidentally contact the walls in tight quarters. Definitely a different type of experience if you’re up for it.

Great tour, but eerie and spooky - We were really fortunate to get tickets for the last day before it closed for renovations, and I'm so glad we did. The self guided tour takes you through underground tunnels before arriving at the main attraction, the remains. Its so interesting finding out how they came to be down there. Whilst its hard to get tickets, its definitely worth it, so make sure you do

Would definitely recommend this! - This was a great experience. We had booked a time slot and line was almost non-existent. Audio guides worked really well. It took a little over an hour to walk the tour. Would definitely recommend this!

English Catacombs Tour with Elenor (Leo) - Eleanor was a wonderful guide; informative and supplementing her narrative with photos to add color and context. You should be prepared for a lot of stairs, uneven terrain, and some slippery areas. I was concerned as I am claustrophobic but was able to manage throughout the tour since once you’ve descended then the areas are pretty open. Please keep in mind this is an open graveyard with millions of deceased men, women, and children. There is nothing protecting their remains from access by visitors. Take care not to disturb, be considerate, and reconsider taking “selfies”.

One of a kind experience - An incredible experience, one of a kind journey below the streets of Paris. It was fascinating is all I can say. It’s a must do, don’t pass on this experience. Our guide Leo, she was an expert and she was very knowledgeable and made the journey interesting. Highly recommend Leo as a guide

Paris Underground - Our tour of the Paris Catacombs was one of our favorite things we did while in Paris. Andei is a great tour guide and his enthusiasm made it a fun tour. He's a great storyteller and not only sets the scene but takes you through the history of how such a place came into being. On top of that the small tour group size and access into places that are usually closed to the public enhanced the experience and getting hearing more macabre yet fascinating stories, which was worth the price of admission. After the tour, Andei also stuck around and talked to us and gave us good restaurant and site-seeing recommendations. We would highly recommend this tour.

Things to do in Paris - Great visit, watch out for people with reduced mobility because at the start and end there are a lot of stairs to do. Otherwise I am impressed by the number of bones there.

Amazing - It wasn’t on my bucket, but my bestie was eager to go and I’m glad I did. My only critique is that the meetup information be updated on the Viator site. We were looking for the tour guide (forgot her name) with a green flag and she was not easily identifiable, hence about half the group couldn’t find her and we ran a few minutes late which made her rush the tour a little bit. I thought it was well paced but the walking in dim light might’ve been too fast for some. The site itself was amazing and I enjoyed learning about it, and our guide pointing out details that would otherwise be missed.

Catacombs in the center of Paris - I wanted to experience something different and visit this place, located very easily, near the Luxembourg Gardens as if to take a reference. Very quiet and organized place, the tour is 1 km underground and in time approximately 1 hour, with self-guide in several languages (if you buy the ticket with that option). The ossuary is a part of the history of the city, perhaps not highly recommended for very sensitive or impressionable people, there is no unpleasant smell and the light is very dim. Nice to meet you.

The guide was great, but... - The guide was great, but I paid for a private tour of a group no larger then 6, we had 14 in our group.
