Come Hungry! - We had a wonderful afternoon walking around Le Marais and trying all the different tastes! Definitely pace yourself in the beginning so that you have enough room for the delicious cheese towards the end!

A sunny food tour through Le Marais! - Our guide Isobel was very charming and knowledgable about the origins of the various foods available in Le Marais. My wife and I were the only ones on the tour today, so we were spoiled with a private tour experience! We enjoyed all of the tastings, the quality of the food selections and the engaging conversation.

Good food, wine and fantastic company. - What a fun afternoon! We embarked on a culinary journey that feels like a warm hug from Paris itself, then you absolutely must join Betsy on the Paris Le Marais food and wine tour! From the moment we met her, it was clear we were in for a treat. Betsy’s vibrant personality and infectious energy set the tone for an unforgettable experience that felt less like a tour and more like a delightful day out with a friend. As we strolled through the charming streets of Marais. Each stop was a little slice of heaven, and Betsy’s insights about the dishes were not only informative but came with a side of wit that had us chuckling along the way. But it wasn’t just about the food—oh no! Betsy was a treasure trove of local tips and hidden gems, sharing recommendations that made our stay truly special. With her guidance, we felt empowered to navigating Parisian scene Merci y mil gracias Betsy!!!

Enjoyable Sunday morning - Isobel was wonderful. The small group made it easy to chat with either and the guide. Highly recommend. It's a great way to experience the neighborhood (esp on a Sunday Morning). I'd give it 10 stars but TripAdvisor is being a hater with the star limit. I

Great intro to Paris. Away from the major museums and monuments into the city proper, with great bites along the way. - Claire was a great guide giving info about foods, restaurants and historical spots along the way. Ending with two wines and four cheeses with a group that now felt like new friends.

Claire was amazing! - I’d highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in getting a taste for the cuisine of Le Marais! Claire was incredible in providing historical context for the region, as well as fantastic cuisine stops (personal favorite was the beef bourguignon!) We stopped by some incredible patisseries & restaurants that we’ll be sure to make repeat visits to in the near future.

A Perfect Day in Le Marais - What a beautiful way to spend a sunlit day in the historic Le Marais district in Paris! This was our sixth Eating Europe Food Tour in various cities and Marais may be our favorite. A perfect combination of food, fun, and history. Our guide Rachel was terrific. She was very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and the authentic foods and drinks that we enjoyed. We particularly liked the history behind many of the food choices on this tour, and there were many as we made seven stops! From sweet to savory and every taste in between. This tour has it all.

Try another tour company, this one was not worth it - I booked this tour after the Eating Rome tour in Trastevere which was the highlight of my trip to Rome. Unfortunately, this tour was not up to par. First of all, "Eating" Paris was generous. The eating portion of this tour was disorganized and not focused on Paris, and the food, as compared to Rome, was sparce. We were shown how we were "eating" specialties from all over France, that was not why I booked this tour. The first 2 stops were pastries, not related to Paris. On the second stop, the tour guide mentioned how we weren't getting what was planned because the bakery had sold out. Shouldn't she have a plan for reserving the food ahead of time? That is how the Rome tour, which was hyper organized and locally focused worked. When we went to the Jewish quarter she mentioned that we couldn't experience that aspect of the tour due to the Jewish establishments being closed because it was Friday. Why schedule this tour for Fridays then? When we went to a wine bar I was asked what my wine preference was and was told over and over by the guide that a fruity wine was "interesting" and they spent too much time trying to find a wine to my "interesting" taste. They were condescending and rude, this is not an usual wine preference but they tried to make me feel like this was a problem. It was difficult comparing the phenomenal experience that I had in Rome. This definitely did not live up to the expectations. We were cold and would have rather just gone out to dinner on our own. I knew a lot of the history of the Marais and wanted the food to relate to that. It did not. I would have preferred my money and time back. This was at the bottom of my experience in Paris sadly. I took nothing away from this experience except regret.
