Extremely knowledgeable... - Extremely knowledgeable guide and we were given plenty of time to wander on our own. The tour was well worth it.

Beat the crowds! - Giverny is not to be missed — and this was a great way to see it. Olga, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and hilarious. She shepherded us through before the biggest crowds arrived and gave great tips throughout. It was lovely to be in such a small group, and much easier to navigate the grounds as a result. Merci Olga!

Must do - Our guide Ilya was wonderful and the driver was great.
We left Paris at 8AM, arrived at about 9. Highly recommend going early like this. Temp is better and less crowded.
Ilya gave us great insights into Monet, his background, history of Giverny gardens and house and more.
Wonderful day!

Don't miss this tour - We experienced some intermittent light rain, and the gardens were vibrant in late May. Our guide was very good and spoke at an optimal speed. Many speak too quickly and it is difficult to process them and see the sights. Still a Wow moment listening to Monet's background and how this island came to be.

Moving and breathtaking visit abruptly cut short..... - We were the 2nd stop so our pick-up was slightly delayed, but overall pick-up and drop-off was seamless with a very good and very professional driver. Our guide was pleasant, engaging, and knowledgeable once we got to the gardens, but there was no engagement, explanation, or discussion regarding the tour, countryside, Monet, or Giverny going or returning. The skip-the-line entry to the gardens was seamless. After our guide offered a brief but informative introduction to Monet and his history in Giverny, we had about 90 minutes to explore the gardens and Monet's home. The gardens were crowded but absolutely breathtaking and, for me, very moving. We waited in a moderately long but quick-moving line to make a quick walk through Monet's home. It was a crowded cattle-call walk through but definitely worth the time in terms of a moving step back in time and into Monet's life in Giverny. After exiting the gardens at the appointed meeting time, our guide led us on a very, very short walk to the easy-to-find church and Monet's family burial spot. We had a short time at the church. Then, the tour abruptly ended 45 minutes ahead of the advertised departure time with no museum visit or free time in Giverny, which were advertised to us as included in the tour. And there was no short 15 minute stop in Versailles (as advertised) on our return. This was a much anticipated highlight excursion for me as a lifelong lover of Monet. If I had known that the little museum visit and free time in Giverny was not going to happen, I would have welcomed extended time in the gardens to just sit with it all. Truly a beautiful and awe-inspiring place to sit or stand quietly immersed. My husband and I were concerned about impacting the other three guests traveling in the van with us and conscientiously hastened our enjoyment of the gardens to make the prearranged meeting time for the church visit and what we thought would be a little free time to visit the little museum or one of the cafes. It turned out the three guests traveling with us had left the gardens ahead of our scheduled meeting time in the gardens and were apparently not interested in wandering the very small enclave of Giverny or enjoying a coffee in one of the very charming cafes. They were seemingly underwhelmed with the gardens and Giverny and, after a very short guide-led church visit, they were pretty obviously done with Giverny. Hence, I believe, the reason our tour was abruptly shortened. To Viator, a possible improvement would be to include some introductory tour remarks on the way to Giverny along with including remarks about the church and the location of the family burial place at the front end of the garden tour along with the introductory explanations of Monet and the gardens. Then, release all guests to explore the gardens, Monet's house, Giverny, and/or the museum as they wish with a set meeting time at the van for the advertised departure time of 1:00pm. This would allow guests who lose interest or finish their visit early to sit and wait wherever they like without impacting other tour guests. As it was, my advice to anyone considering this somewhat pricey tour is that you fill the van with like-minded travelers or make the trip alone so that your visit is not unexpectedly shortened by a group of travelers with differing expectations or desires.

No-one showed up to pick... - No-one showed up to pick us up at the designated meeting place and time on the day we originally booked. No other parties were waiting either. We contacted the company who said there was a computer glitch. Luckily we had one free day left and the trip was rescheduled. Guide was waiting when we arrived at same designated pickup point. In total there were 4 people on this trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable. The gardens are beautiful but so many people all vying for the same photo spots.
The other couple continued to Versailles but we had done this on a previous visit. The driver returned us to our hotel while the others were visiting Versailles then returned to pick them up which was appreciated.

Transportation fine, information not so much. - Giverny is not to be missed. It was so lovely and we had nice weather as well. Our guide Alissa (?) wasn't very helpful as far as information. Her English was not great and she kept checking her notes and then not saying anything. Perhaps she was new. There were just three of us with her which was nice but she was not helpful.

Not worth the price. - The pond, gardens, and house themselves were fantastic. I am not the type to complain but in this situation I have some feedback for the tour company on how to improve. The guide did not speak almost at all. We had 2-3 little pieces of ok information/history, most was given only f we asked a question. He basically just led us around so we did not get lost, but we all ended getting split up anyways. We had a 10 min walk to the Church and NOTHING was said, no history etc. Also, as a company, please consider using the ear pieces on crowded days so we can hear the guide and get better instruction on how long we have in certain spots, or where to meet. In addition, having a ballon or flag to hold up would help so we don't get lost or split up.
Overall, we should have just paid for transportation to Giverny and did a self-walking tour to save money.

Bait and switch - if they don't get enough people for the tour, they offer you a "private experience" for more money, but no tour. The guy that spoke to us for 10 minutes just kept us telling us how tired he was, and his english was very poor. there was no "skip the line" (we waited for over 35 minutes to get into the house), as promised, and there was no 15 minute stop in Versailles as promised. There was no time to walk around the village as promised - all of this in writing - so basically this was just a ride in a vehicle for a lot of money.
