Located in the fashionable Les Batignolles area of Paris, this is more than just a cooking class; it’s a comprehensive culinary journey led by a former Cordon Bleu instructor. Unlike many Parisian workshops that focus on demonstrations, this interactive class ensures that every participant is involved in preparing each dish from beginning to end.
With a limit of four participants, the cozy environment provides personalized attention, making it perfect for mastering genuine techniques. While the emphasis is on traditional French cuisine, guests have the option to explore Colombian or Asian flavors upon request.
After cooking, guests gather to savor the gourmet meal they have crafted. Each participant departs with enhanced culinary knowledge, a certificate of achievement, and a cookbook containing all the class recipes.
For larger private groups, the chef can arrange tailored experiences.

Best activity we did during a week in Paris - Chef Catalina is an incredible person with a fascinating life story. She is also an excellent teacher and an amazing chef. My boyfriend and I walked away from this class having learned new skills, with full stomachs and feeling like we had just been at a friend's house for a dinner party. We came as a gift for my boyfriend's birthday and Chef Catalina and her husband helped us make a TON of some of the most delicious food we had our entire trip in Paris, and had us take all the leftovers home along with some extra treats, as well as the recipes for each of the dishes. This was by far our favorite activity during our visit to Paris. I also personally had little to no cooking experience and she made the class very accessible for me and tailored to my level. I could not recommend this class enough and will tell all my friends to book it!!

Cooking with Chef Catalina. The best experience you can give yourself. - We had the most authentic immersive French experience you could find with Chef Catalina. She is passionate about her craft and teaches culinary skills while you prepare a fabulous French meal which was our choice…she has many other meal choices. Our experience was very intimate and conversational and the meal was outstanding! This was truly a 5 star experience and one not to miss!

Great French Cooking Class! - This cooking class was excellent! A great blend of building skills and learning to cook new dishes. Catalina and Brian were incredible teachers and hosts! Try not to book something after, so you won’t be stressed if it goes over time a little.

Fantastic Meal and New Friends Made - Merci, Catalina and Brian!!! - We are SO happy to have stumbled upon this wonderful small business owned and operated by Chef Catalina and husband Brian. As others have said, this truly was the highlight of our week in Paris! From the moment I contacted her, Catalina was incredibly responsive, answering all of my many questions and also making the booking a breeze. She provided tons of recommendations on things to do in her neighborhood, which itself is a terrific reason to go see Catalina! When we arrived, Catalina and Brian (along with their two adorable and incredibly sweet dogs) welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home!
We chose the Asian cooking class, which Catalina expertly guided my husband and me through with a mix of really interesting conversation, laughter, and just the right amount of serious technique-talk (and the occasional well-deserved talking-to by Chef).
After all of our hard work (don't despair, Brian holds his own, snapping pictures and graciously tidying up as we go along), the four of us all sat down to feast and continue our conversation, which really only took a pause when we needed to catch our breath from eating the deliciousness in front of us.
I would absolutely without a doubt recommend Catalina and Brian for a truly unique experience you will brag about to even your most well--traveled friends! We hope to see you guys when we come back to Paris... and if you come to New York we promise to take you on the Bagel Extravaganza of a lifetime!

Wonderful, educational and fun - This was a wonderful. We were looking for a nice informal experience, hopefully also as educational-as-possible. And in this context the experience simply could not have been more perfect. We had a wonderful time in the most generous company of Catalina and her husband. We would do it again

Highlight of our Paris trip!!! - This was an INCREDIBLE experience and one of the highlights of my mom’s and my Paris trip. Chef Catalina welcomed us into her lovely home with two cute puppies, and created a warm, safe, and fun learning environment. The group was small—my mom, me, and a couple—so we received hands-on experience and detailed instruction from Catalina on various cooking techniques, from the proper form to use different knives to tips for when in the cooking process to add salt. We concluded the afternoon with the incredible meal we had cooked, as well as great conversation. Catalina truly creates a special opportunity for connection and learning. I highly, highly recommend!! (Plus, Catalina has great recommendations for bakeries, coffee shops, and activities in the beautiful Batignolles neighborhood—be sure to ask!)

Must do meal in Paris on your first night! - For a fabulous dinner in a beautiful home and relaxed environment with a meal cooked by a chef that worked at the Cordon Bleu we highly recommend chef Catalina and her su chef Brian. Catalina was very communicative as our flight was delayed and they both treated us with open kindness. Part of the appeal is they shared the main course at the table with us and gave us all the Paris highlights based on where our VRBO was located.
I would definitely do this on your first night in Paris. A true gem to start off your adventure.
Make sure to check your email as she communicates after scheduling to pick your food choices.

Engagement Celebration - We had an amazing time with Chef Catalina during a private cooking class for lunch, making some of the best Asian dishes we’ve ever tasted! Catalina’s expertise and passion for cooking made the entire experience truly special. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and engaging, ensuring that every dish we made turned out perfectly. It was such a lovely and memorable experience, and we couldn’t recommend it enough. If you’re visiting Paris, taking a class with Catalina is an absolute must!

An Unforgettable Cooking Experience in Paris – Catalina & Brian Made It Perfect! - We absolutely loved our Parisian/Colombian Cooking Class and Dining Experience! It was the perfect way to start our vacation in Paris.
Our chef, Catalina, was incredible—she’s extremely experienced and truly knows her stuff. She guided us through making chicken cordon bleu, ratatouille, and a delicious chocolate cake, sharing expert tips along the way. One of the biggest takeaways for me was the proper knife grip and how to dice an onion correctly—skills I’ll never forget! Her passion for cooking and teaching made the experience both fun and educational.
A huge shoutout to Brian, who went above and beyond. Not only did he give us fantastic personalized recommendations for our area, but he even followed up after the class and helped us book a reservation at a restaurant. His hospitality and attention to detail made the experience even more special.
If you’re visiting Paris, I highly recommend this class to everyone! It’s an amazing way to learn French cuisine from a pro, pick up valuable cooking skills, and enjoy a memorable experience. So happy we did this!

Recommending to friends for sure!!! - Catalina was amazing! I went and took her class solo in February 2025 and had the most amazing time. I really felt like she was focused on making sure I learned in the class, and was not stressed about keeping within a time limit. The food was incredible and the instruction was so easy to follow. I left the class feeling much more confident in my cooking capabilities than I had before walking into her beautiful place! I’d definitely recommend this class for people of all skill levels as Catalina is so talented and could teach something to everyone! She had amazing stories to share and an overall amazing energy about her.
