• Charly-Sur-Marne - At 11 am, guests will arrive in the village of Charly-sur-Marne to meet their hosts, Sonia & Guilhem, at their mansion. Guests can tour the property with the hosts and savor French cuisine and wine.
• Paris - Departure from Charly-sur-Marne is at 3 pm, with a return to Paris taking approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, or a direct train ride lasting 49 minutes (refer to the information above).

AN EXTRAORDINARY GARDEN
Nestled on the outskirts of a Champagne-producing village, this 14th-century residence, once a water mill, boasts a truly unique garden. Stroll barefoot by the waterfall, explore a mysterious tower, gather fossils from the stream bed, and admire Guilhem’s personal collection of ancient coins. Your gracious hosts will warmly welcome you and provide a souvenir photo taken by the waterfall. During fall, winter, or inclement weather, enjoy the experience of making crêpes.

CHAMPAGNE, FRENCH CUISINE & WELCOMING HOSTS
Delight in an aperitif featuring Champagne and appetizers, followed by a hearty homemade French dinner: three courses, cheese, and coffee — all enjoyed in the company of your friendly and hospitable hosts. Guilhem is proficient in English, rated 7/10.

• You can either choose the “Transportation included” option (pick up at your hotel by our driver, mid-range car or van), OR get there by your own means. The precise address in the village of Charly-sur-Marne will be provided after booking: 1. Use UBER or UBER RESERVE (up to 90 days in advance) to book your ride there and back (expect 130 euros one way for 4 people). If you do not book, you might not be able to find any available UBER driver nearby. 2. RENT A CAR: expect 150 euros for a mid-range car for 2 days.
• The romantic option - TAKE A DIRECT LOCAL TRAIN from Paris (49 min): At Gare de l’Est (Paris East railway station), buy a RER ticket valid up to Nanteuil-Saâcy station, 2.5 euros, direct train. Ideally, buy round-trip tickets. No need to buy in advance. Suggested departures: 9:17am or 9:49am (every day). At Nanteuil-Saâcy station, call a Uber or taxi (about 10+ euros, 10 min drive to your hosts’ place).
