• Epernay - 12:00 - 13:30 Lunch break in Épernay, known as the Champagne Capital of France. Nestled along the Marne and surrounded by wine hills, it is home to many of the region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must-visit for wine and champagne enthusiasts. The Avenue of Champagne is a popular tourist attraction.
  13:30 Departure to Hautvillers village, a 10-minute (6 km) drive.
• Abbaye Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers - 13:40 - 14:10 Visit the Church of Saint-Sindulphe at the Abbey Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers, a former Benedictine monastery founded in 665 and active until the French Revolution in 1789. Dom Perignon developed winemaking methods in the Champagne region. Today, there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village. Stop at the viewpoint for panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river.

  15:20 Departure to Veuve Clicquot Domaine, a 5-minute (850m) drive.
• Veuve Clicquot-Ponsardin - 15:30 - 17:00 Visit the Veuve Clicquot Champagne house, established in 1772. Today, Veuve Clicquot produces over 22 million bottles annually and is one of the largest producers. A guided tour through the cellars by Veuve Clicquot staff provides great insight into the history and Champagne production methods.
