Golden Shadows Trek - We had a great trip into the National Reserve doing the Golden Shadows trek. There are various tour operators that do this all with similar pricing, however we got an added perk of seeing Laguna Rosa! The walk wasn’t too strenuous - about 3.5km over several hours although sometimes uneven underfoot with some steep inclines and declines. Along the way there were lots of photo opportunities and our guide was great at offering to take pictures. Do bring some water and a windproof jacket because it gets very windy and much cooler when the sun goes down.

Amazing "golden shadows" guided trek across the Paracas Desert - Incredible tour! The guide was extremely helpful and very enjoyable. He gave us loads of information on the desert and its various attractions, stopped to let us take photos along the way and even took some incredible photos of the group. The tour included transport too and from paracas (they kindly dropped us directly at our accomodation), a guided walk across the national park, a stop to watch the sunset and additional information about the local area. It was also extremely well priced (about £20), couldn't have asked for a better first tour in Paracas!

The best way to visit the paracas national reserve - The clásico sunset trek has amazing scenery, is a great value for money, and perfect opportunity for stunning photos as a good memory. Very easy and smooth to book the tour with playa roja and kept us well informed. Efrain was a friendly tour guide, a great photographer and showed us the best parts of the reserve. A short drive to the reserve from paracas centre then a slightly longer drive along the track road inside the park to the first stop. Plenty of time to walk, stop for photos and facts along the way in time for the beautiful sunset. We had some strong winds and a bit of cloud but added to the whole experience. The drive back from the end point was very appreciated. The reserve wasn’t too busy or crowded and we had a very small group. Overall definitely recommend visiting the national reserve with this expedition.
