Precise islands full of pelagic birds and some, unique. - Beautiful and essential visit to the Ballestas Islands, you sail 1/2 hour in a speedboat. First you visit the coastal area and see the spectacular “Candelabra” figure made on the ground of the pre-Inca era. Then you're headed to the islands. My interest was to see birds. And my interest was filled. I wanted to see the spectacular Inca terns. The boat handling is fabulous. You are in the Pacific and you have to know how to drive very well because they come very close to the islands. The seascape or rock formations are also unique and spectacular. It's a lovely ride. And absolutely recommended.

This is a must do in Paracas - This was definitely a tour that you should take while in Paracas. It was absolutely fantastic, first you sail to the candelabra to take pictures from the boat. They turn the boat so that each side can see it and take pictures. Then you go to Ballestas which was absolutely fantastic.
We do recommend you bring a wind breaker since you will get wet.
We highly recommend this tour

Lots of fun! - Our boat ride could not take place due to rough waters however it was replaced with sand buggy rides through the national reserve park, it turned out to be a very fun day with nice and helpful guides. Would definitely recommend!

Mother Nature at her best! - educational and beautiful. lots of birds, pelican, boobies, terns and more plus seals. just a short ride from the pier plus you have an amazing view of the Candleabra carved into the cliffside. We had the added blessing of perfect weather and animals that were OK with the boat full of people coming fairly close. Absolutely wonderful!

Perfect - We met Saolu from las adventures, when we arrived at parracas. From the first moment he was very friendly and polite. He also helped us to find our hostel. We decided to book a tour to the isla balletas, the shuttle bus to huacachina and also the nazca flight with him. Everything has worked very well. And he made us a really good price. I could write him all the time through WhatsApp and he responed my questions immediatly. He speaks also fluently english. He also gave me a little salsa lesson - it was quite of fun. So I highly recommend las adventures! They are doing a really really good job. You can really trust them.

Magical, breath taking, romantic, and expansive - This tour was amazing! Definitely make sure to download WhatsApp if touring Peru. It makes conversing with your guides and restaurants very easy as everyone prolifically uses it here. Our guides coordinated with us through WhatsApp and made meeting at the pier easy and convenient.
Additionally don’t be fooled by first impressions of Paracas, it may be a smaller less prominent town but the people truly care about their tourists. (Make sure to check out fuzion for their smoothies and sandwiches!!) This tour was hosted in both English and Spanish. The guide was a woman who was hilarious as well as informative about the history behind the area and it’s gorgeous tour locations.
We truly enjoyed seeing the candelabra in person! It’s so massive!! It is only about fifteen minutes out to the candelabra, they stop for a few minutes, including turning the boat so everyone has a chance to see it clearly before moving on towards the Ballestas Islands.
The islands are GORGEOUS!! Be aware, you certainly should wear sunblock and a hat with a tie to protect yourself from the sun and potential bird poops. 😂 The island was COVERED in sea lions, as we went in March during peak birthing/breeding season. We even saw penguins and sea lions swimming near our boat during our tour!
There is definitely an aroma 😂 from all the bird poop, but it’s interesting to see how it’s intricately colored the islands. Additionally people live out here and scrap the poo by hand for agriculture uses in other countries. We then left the islands and jetted back to the pier.
On our way back, we were even lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins! I would highly recommend this tour. The guides were great, the price even better, and the sights are life long memories of enchanting beauty. 🤗

Must do day trip, but may not need to go with tour - If you can manage a day trip to Paracas island, this is something you must do. The island has rock formation and many bird/animals, it is a highlight of the trip to Peru.
However there is a 16 Sole per person undisclosed charge at the port, you will have to pay it yourself. Actually there are many boats departure from the port, if you can manage to get the port yourself, you do not need to buy tour and your time will be more flexible.

Definite pass - I bought two tickets, yet was refused two seats on the boat, even though it was paid for. Had a kid sleeping on me the entire trip back. Then after the tour, no one was there to drive me back to my hotel as advertised, leaving me stranded miles from my hotel. I’d recommend a company that actually follows through with their obligations. The not driving customers home seems to be a pattern given reviews (apparently should have done better research), but the tour was good, however not this company. They outsource.
