Great half day tour to the monkey island! - Ricardo is a great guide. He picked us up on time from our Airbnb and took us safely to the boats. The monkey island tour was fun - sailing by the huge ships and feeding the monkeys, spotting sloths, bats were all part of this great experience. Highly recommend.

Two Tours in One - Such a fantastic experience! You essentially get two tours for the price of one with all prices included. We had Dan as our tour guide, and he was both such a friendly person and extremely informative. I’d recommend this tour to anyone

The BEST Tour! - This was one of the best excursions I’ve ever taken—we had an absolute blast on this tour! Our guide (we think his name was Alex) picked us up at our hotel. He was friendly and full of information about Panama’s history and geography as we drove out to where we’d catch our boat. When we got to the boat launch, there were a few nice ladies selling souvenirs and trinkets, which was nice since we didn’t have much like that available at the resort. We each bought a few small things.
The boat trip was amazing. It was interesting to see the big ships pass us by as we cruised up the canal to the islands. Once we got to the islands, Alex was a pro at getting the monkeys’ attention. We had capuchin monkeys come right onto the boat and climb over our laps. We had cute little tamarin monkeys climb on the boat too, thought they were a little more timid. And we also saw howler monkeys. Alex kept us moving from site to site looking for more monkeys. And on the way, told us about the various birds, bats and flowers we were seeing. On the way back to the boat launch, we even saw a crocodile!
It was the perfect length of time and a really fun way to experience the wildlife of Panama. I’d highly recommend it as a must-do for anyone visiting Panama City.

beautiful private family boat tour with such a great team - We were able to meet with the driver. I was a bit uncertain at first as we needed to coordinate getting from Rio Hata (but one of the many places called Playa Blanca in Panama), but the trip coordinator and Viator helped with my concerns and we were able to meet.
The actual experience was incredible with Alci and his captain Melissa. They were able to show us the monkey's and even get a baby monkey to share a paw with our family. We were able to see some of the other wildlife found around Panama Canal.
We were left in awe with the work gone into the canal, and how today the size of container ships truly are. To think how much rely on this piece of the world is mind blowing.
Thank you so much for the wonderful visit, many memories to share.

The kids loved it! - Group of 9. Being picked up our hotel was a +. Professional driver and a good captain on the boat. We saw lots of animals: several birds and monkeys, a sloth, a caiman. A great experience.

Good view of the rainforest, the lakes, monkeys - Great tour. Needs a bit of humor and zest, but after the drive, the trip on the boat gives an excellent perspective on rainforest, lush, green, and a great view of Panama.

Close to monkeys - We drove for over an hour in a comfortable minivan to the launch point for the boat trip. (There is a chance to use the restroom before boarding). Then we sped across the lake with a minimal amount of commentary until we joined other boats that had spotted the monkeys. We stopped at three spots to see three varieties of monkeys. At each stop, the guide and driver waved fruit that they had brought and called out to lure the monkeys close to or onto the boat so we could see and photograph them. They also gave each of us a chance to feed them. We saw three types of monkeys, many birds although not close up and generally not memorable, and one sloth high up and hidden in branches. Also bats, ants, and iguana high in the trees. Then we sped back for a 45 minute drive to our hotel.
