Best experience ever! - If you are looking for a last minute trip like I did, this is the one for you. I wanted to spend a weekend with my daughter on our last day in Panama and we came across this tour. They gave us welcome drinks to start the day. We enjoyed the islands with their beaches and crystal clear waters, the tour includes visits to other islands. All the staff from the driver and our guide were very attentive to everything we needed. The food was delicious, I ordered lobster and my daughter had fish. It is definitely a trip that I would take again if I return to Panama and I recommend it 100%.

perfect - Everything was great, from the driver Marín who picked you up on time at the hostel in Panama City until the return. What was even more incredible was that I ended up being the only tourist on the first island where I stayed until lunch. IT WAS UNFORGETTABLE!!! Good food, I just didn't get the welcome drink that apparently was in the package. I paid a good price for the tour. I hope to be able to return someday.

definitely a must when your in Panama. - the private tour was amazing! everything went smoothly and our tour guide Joel was was great ! definitely recommend the day trip ! Booking with Guna yala explorer was very easy , they are responsive and will answer any questions you have .

Getting Some Sun in Panama - Our driver was prompt and that's a great beginning. We picked up 3 other passengers in 2 separate stops-this is expected since it's not a private tour. Our driver was great-winding road up and down for 2 hours to our destination was hard for me since I have motion sickness but I expected that. Be aware and prepare if you have motion sickness. The tour guides boat crew at Guna Yala (proper name for these islands by the indigenous people of Panama) were very nice and efficient. They are very savvy handling the boat and the whole ride and beach experience was very nice. Even though it was a long day from Panama City for the tour, we were very pleased and highly recommend.

San Blas Island - not as expected - The tour indicated there were English speaking tour guides. This was “barely” accurate. There were 20 people on our boat and we were the only 2 who did not speak Spanish. This would not have been an issue however the tour guide only minimally translated things for us. When the guide speaks in Spanish for ~5 minutes and then says 4 sentences in English, you kinda realize that things are not being fully explained or communicated. We feel like we lost out a lot on the information one would get with a guide tour. Even the safety issues were not fully explained. At no point was it explained that you will need to climb in and out of a boat that at times was slippery &/or immersed in the ocean, making you climb a metal ladder to get in. If you have any knee problems this would not be a good tour to go on. The San Blas water & beaches were beautiful and the lunch was tasty. We never got the “welcome cocktail” that was supposed to be included. As for the transportation to & from the hotel to the dock, it was quite stressful with very treacherous roads. The driver was excellent in navigating the roads. Having to sit in the 3rd row made for a cramped ride and required us to have our seats overly reclined so as to not hit our heads on the roof of the car. We did enjoy the trip however from others experiences, I would not recommend this tour group unless you speak Spanish fluently and are physically in good shape.
