Great experience! - Well organized, great narrator, good food, and a great way to see the full Panama Canal. The ship, Pacific Queen, is starting to show it’s age but it worked out fine.

Full transit of Panama Canal in 180 passenger boat - 180 passenger boat with comfortable outdoor and indoor seating transited entire Panama Canal from Pacific to Atlantic (including six enormous locks) in about 10 hours. Onboard guide provided very informative and interesting narration. Good breakfast and lunch were provided. Crew was very friendly and helpful. This tour was operating only once per month when we took it (in February, 2025), and was pretty much full. We were glad that we scheduled our trip to Panamá around the tour schedule.

A Day Well Spent - Full Transit - This trip lived up to my expectations. It is a full day 6AM to 6PM, but it is worth both the time and money spent. Panama Marine Adventures runs a well oiled machine. Check-in was early, but smooth and efficient. Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack were provided as part of the package. They use colored wrist bands to control the flow of things, so there were never any long lines or crowding. The guide provided continuous narration in both English and Spanish and was also available to answer individual questions.

A dream comes true - I have been wanting to do a transition throught Panama Cannal for a long time.but I do not want to spend 15 dya on a cruise ship because I do not want to visit other port cities on the route and waste my time. Once I found this tour on Viata website, I immediately booked it. It was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed it.

Do it!!! - Very enlightening! Long day but well worth it. Wonderful narration by very knowledgeable guide. Attentive staff.

History's wings - I went on a Full Transit Tour. It was a long day but it felt good, even but the bus ride home from Kolon was fun. The canal tour was well organized with meals, you had to walk in rounds, no luxury food but acceptable. The guide spoke well in both Spanish and English and had a lot of information throughout the trip, about everything from the history to the dimensions of the canal but also about all the boats we went on and met. It was possible to seek coolness below deck, and shelter from the sun. The ship swayed a bit on a few occasions but overall it was calm "lake" Great views.

Everyone should experience this at least once. - This was an experience I have been waiting a long time for. The day was beautiful, Jose our guide was outstanding. He was so knowledgeable and willing to stop and answer questions. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for better experience.

Excellent Trip - Passing through the Canal was a bit of a bucket list item and this tour really met my expectations. The guide and staff were super helpful and informative. Breakfast, lunch and a snack were served and all were tasty. These were all also really well organized by calling groups based on bracelet color. These were also used to efficiently get us on buses back to Panama City at the end of the day. The travel through the Canal was interesting... even the down times of waiting at the locks (beyond tour company control) were not too bad. It was a bit crowded in the morning but much nicer after the half transit group disembarked. The only frustration was, after arriving early and standing in line for check in, then having groups turn up and be given preferential treatment to board first.... and so they also claimed the primo seats.

Panama Canal full transit tour - The experience was great! Be prepared for a twelve hour day. And bring snacks if you don’t want to purchase them on the boat. It was an awesome experience and Jose (our guide) was phenomenal. He spoke both English and Spanish which was very helpful. He also answered any and all questions. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Definitely worth to take the cruise if you have sufficient time in Panama. - Great experience. We did the full transit and didn’t feel long. Was very fun to see the cruise ship go through the locks. The guide was wonderful!
