Definitely worth it - Company communicated well regarding pick up. Air conditioned bus to boat. Daniel was our guide and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable and perfect English with a great sense of humor. We had the ‘monkey whisperer’ with us and she attracted the monkeys. We saw 3 types of monkeys, some tiny bats, an iguana and many birds. A fun trip.

Madaleine & Rafaelo are the very best - Our guides were Madeleine and Rafaelo. They were superb. I had a fantastic time and loved every minute. They spotted sloths, iguana, crocodile, white monkey, tamarind monkey, the ones up the tree and another species. They knew some by name too. Loved it.

Wow! - Everything was perfect: good humor, interesting, punctual and communicative! Daniel the guide was very kind and cultured, he loves his work and it seems!

He was knowledgeable, entertaining, engaging, and generous in the amount of information that he gave us. It was a long trip and he kept us filled with information. Well worth it - A truly unique experience to discover the flora and wildlife of Panama Canal. The pick up at the hotel was in time. Our guide Alfonso was truly knowledgeable and his English was perfect. He gave us a lot of useful information about the tour, the city, the history, the animals and the flora. Well organised and friendly. The trip on a boat next to the vessels transiting Panama was a unique experience. We could see plenty of animals ( birds, monkeys, iguana, sloth…) I loved that the group was not too big. Alfonso answered all the questions we had about a lot of local topics and about the animals. It was great. Highly recommend.

Fun Adventure! - Loved this experience with the monkeys getting on the boat and taking peanuts & grapes from our hands. It was also educational to learn about other wildlife & natural resources.

False advertising ........... - The tour was fine and the operators did a great job. BUT a major misunderstanding re the fees. Only AFTER I signed up was I informed that there would be a $30 upcharge each (cash) for the boat operator. They never asked for it throughout the tour so I assumed that was a misunderstanding. I gave Daniel (el jefe) a $30 tip to be shared and assumed that was the end of it. The operators are still after me for another $60!!

Your website says $20... - Your website says $20 additional for the boat ride. The tour guy changed the price for the boat ride from $20 to $30. That was cheating!

Un organized tour - The experience was great!! Loved the monkeys! However I booked the day before and heard nothing from the tour personnel as to what time is pickup! I had to message them on the day of the tour for them to say that they can’t pick us up even though it stated it at the time of booking.. my tour was postponed until 2 pm! I booked for 12 noon! Late responses late with pickup also!! They didn’t take us back to the hotel!! I wouldn’t book again with Viator! Highly upset! Unorganized! If they overbook they need to state that and really need to communicate better with paying customers!! I will not book again! I felt lied to! And not satisfied! For the inconvenience of the time you all could have provided the transportation to make it right! That was ridiculous!! Never again!

They Never Showed Up - We had booked and prepaid a tour "Gatun Lake & Monkey Island: with this operator. The pick-up was to occur at 5:30 in the morning. They never showed up and also were not reachable until 8 am, at which time we gave up trying. Bottom-line is that they are unreliable and incommunicado. Viator refunded us the money, but having a full-day tour not happen without any advance warning when we only had three days in Panama really sucked. Our recommendation is to stay away from this operator.
